Day by day I float my paper boats one by one down the running stream.
In big black letters I write my name on them and the name of the village where I live.
I hope that someone in some strange land will find them and know who I am.
I load my little boats with shiuli flowers from our garden, and hope that these blooms of the dawn will be carried safely to land in the night.
I launch my paper boats and look up into the sky and see the little clouds setting their white bulging sails.
I know not what playmate of mine in the sky sends them down the air to race with my boats!
When night comes I bury my face in my arms and dream that my paper boats float on and on under the midnight stars.
The fairies of sleep are sailing in them, and the lading is their baskets full of dreams.

My longer term Flickr friends may recall that I had a serious accident back in the summer of 2015. The injury caused permanent restrictions in the movement of my right arm and it's only just recovered enough for me to develop black and white films. So I'm going back to 2015 with this film which is Kodak 400TX developed in Rodinal. This gentlemen is in Bakewell.

Lith Print
Paper: Defender "Velour Black" R-2 glossy 8x10 expired 1949
Developer: Moersch SE5 1:1:10
Toner: None
This paper was extremely fogged and could not be printed normally using standard print developer with a restrainer. However, it works very well in Lith developer. Some prints have uneven development and splotches of fog on the edges. In my opinion the imperfections add to the mood of the images in this series.

My 1st try ever with Rodinal... an amazing developer!
I wanted also to confirm first-hand that the 210mm Apo-Symmar L covered 8x10. It does so, but without any appreciable movements with an image circle of just 321mm at f/22 (AOV of 75º).
This was (as today) a low contrast day filled with California wildfire smoke. I was testing my Spotmatic for light leaks after a CLA. Luckily, no problems.
