The second in the SM series of mecha, the Hawk is a great improvement over SM-001 due to its greater speed, durability, and weaponry. However, the pilot has no way of escape in case of catastrophic failure.

I think that our Uglyworm looks like an alien so they all hang out together on the younger Hug-a-Bug's bed.

This robot shark sculpture is known as "To Poseidon" and was crafted by Xia Hang. It is display at Parkview Square, Singapore.
This fully manual camera with a Xenar-Schneider lens was used during the cold war by spies because it was easy to conceal. Lots of accessories were available to make pictures without raising the awareness of the target (such as a right angle viewfinder). It can also takes many pictures at a very rapid speed (a bonus for spies). And last but not least, it is extremely rugged and solid (James Bond enjoys this feature very much).
Earlier models were used by the Luftwaffe during WWII.
Some say the quality of its pictures are as good as a leica's. I haven't tried yet because the film cartridge is missing (must find one on the internet). What is quite interesting is that it uses regular 35mm but in 24 X 24 frames only. So, the pictures are square (and you can put more on one film - spies like that!).
I am eager to use it! I have never used a fully manual camera before...

The building where the cool Citroen advert featuring the dancing robot that turns into a car was filmed is in this picture. Taken from the Harbour Centre Tower in Vancouver, which can be seen in the background on the advert.
Built the entire body on the first day of class, putting us two weeks ahead of schedule in 90 minutes.

Here’s my tarnished Robot Allan custom with a face. Usually I have a set idea on how to approach a face up, but with this I just started on with a grimy looking simple face up to look more statuesque, but it didn’t look right to me so I slowly added a bit more and more til I felt he was complete enough.
I really tried to emulate that hand painted 1930s style of toy painting (which often looks horrifying nowadays) so I’m digging how he looks.
I also weathered his joints and parts but I kept trying to make it look subtle that’s barely noticeable heh.

So I have two nephews; one wants to grow up to be a robot, and the other is capable of destroying anything nearly instantly (an ability that he relishes demonstrating frequently). Between the two of them at least one will grow up to be quite a supervillain. Superman doesn't stand a chance.

Strobist: the background is a long exposure of streetlights and led lawn lights, the foreground robot is in the dark but lit with a little single led flashlight; first to make the point of light in front of his hand cannon, and then just flashed at him quickly from a few feet away just to give him a touch more light from the front.

Robot Dreams is an exhibition that the Museum Tinguely in Basel organized in cooperation with Kunsthaus Graz. Video at VernissageTV: vernissage.tv/blog/2010/08/16/robot-dreams-at-museum-ting...
