Flyer from the first Robot.Robot.Engage! club night in Bournemouth with Get Cape Wear Cape Fly DJ set and live sets from Boom in the Diamond Industry, Gideon Conn, The New 1920, and Hey Molly. Pretty rad background too I think.
This looked like the greatest shop ever. We were peering through the window and it was full of cool 80s stuff.

This was the robot my team built for the 1999 MIT 6.270 Autonomous Robot Design Competition. We called it The Count because of its bat-like wings, used to knock balls into the goals. This picture was taken during the testing.
The first MSSM Robotics Symposium at Thomas College was a success. Approximately 150 students, mentors, and educators gathered to learn about Maine Robotics programs. Several teams used the fields for practice matches and received feedback from the head referee. We’re already planning for next year with more robotics companies, hands-on activities, and even more opportunities to connect. We would like to thank Thomas College for being an awesome host and for providing a great facility. Look for an even bigger and better event around the same time next year.

Today our Robotics class started by building rovers and continued learning about loops and sensors. These tools helped them program their robots to have a dance competition! We can’t get over how impressed we are by our campers!
Alright...so here I am starting over. I crapped out on my first 365 for a number of reasons (at this point they are just excuses). Today, while trying to satisfy the kid in us, Jason and I went to The Ark toy store (totally awseome! The toys are QUALITY and brought back so many memories) to do some browsing. This guy literally jumped off the shelf and into my arms. I have named him Tek and he is bound and determined to complete the 365 (I need all the motiviation I can get.)
I am calling this one re-birth...together we are turning over a new leaf and beginning a new adventure. Hope everyone enjoys:)
