Roboter Museum Sammlung
Scroll Down under this long text for the English version!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Last Wednesday there was free admission to the Museum of Work in Hamburg, but what caught me the most is the large Showcase next to the entrance counter with a great collection of different robots of all sorts .
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As you might have noticed in the pictures, the Power Rangers Red Dragon Thunderzord is Miss Transformed,
Of course, I informed the lady behind the counter about it, but as i clearly saw, it did not mean much to her, well, at least she promised me to give it to the display case agents.

Hand cut linoleum letters on dishtowel with multiple washings. Part of the Robot Rescue League Series. By artist Mitchel Ahern.
Trish and I went to visit Sebastopol and stopped to visit Donabel, Trish's childhood art teacher and next-door neighbor. Donabel had a huge collection of art that she'd created, bought, and traded for. This happy little beer robot was part of her collection.
"No. 765" Retro Robot Racer.
This is a, um, not quite sure what to call it, assemblage/sculpture, grown-up toy? It is cut out of tin with tin snips and painted with acrylic paints with a few bits and pieces added, and then put on wheels. It has wooden dowling axles, onto which the cut-out tin wheels are nailed. It is about 7 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches high.
Phoenix Robotics offers a full Robot Installation service for its customers. This can be part of a complete Robot Cell Design package where the Robot Installation is part of the cell commissioning or as a standalone service to customers who have a recently purchased robot that requires installation within an existing process.
Started to build a severed robot head. I plan on adding all of the old sci-fi classics, blinking eyes, robotic voice, spinning antennas.
Based off a painting by illustrator Chris Bishop (Broken Robot #4 (Yellow)).

This is one of the creepiest things i've ever met. She's supposed to talk to you, she call you names and ask to be brushed. SPOOKY!
We brought Reem robot to BAU school of design in Barcelona in order to test its navigation abilities
This robot (well, it looks like one) character is located in the Science Centre in Delft. It is actually a device to help a person climb up against windows and such. The wooden mannequin just makes it look like a robot.
We are teaching a new maker art class called ‘Robot World’, to help children create their own artistic robots. This class for grades 4-5 will take place at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Students will learn how to make their bots move in a variety of ways, as well as play sounds and light up, using a programmable Arduino board. They will then decorate their animated creatures, give them a story, and create a magical world for them to live in.
This photo set covers our our first prototypes for this class, featuring a Baby Angel, an Alien and a Bamboodu native american spirit, in different stages of construction. Students will design their own characters, and we will laser cut wooden figures based on their designs, using the same mechanisms to make characters shake their heads and wave their arms while they roam.
Each student will receive a robot kit, which they will learn to assemble, control and program. They will then take their completed robot home with them, after the class ends. For this course, my partner Edward Janne and I have created our own robot kit, using an Arduino Feather M0 for the robot, an RF remote, a custom chassis, plus three additional servos and more parts. Our robot kit is similar to commercial products, but with a lot more features at a lower cost.
We are also teaching a similar class for adults and teens at Tam Makers in Mill Valley, which will use the same robot kit. In just two evenings in late September, we'll show students how to build their own robot with Arduino, make it move, light up and play sounds -- then take it home.
