Aother regular visitor to the garden.

I spotted this well rounded little robin -fluffed up against the cold frosty morning - while I was out with Taivas this morning. He stayed just long enough for me to switch my camera on and snap!

We haven't had any snow yet, but it must be nearly winter because the robins are back! :)

Several people could be getting this as a Christmas card! Taken at Center Parcs, Whinfell.

I thought this little chap deserved a couple more photos posted. Uncropped but reduced by 50% from 4000x3000 best viewd full size.

Has spring sprung? This robin singing in blossom in the woods near my house certainly seems to think so. Taken handheld, manually focused.

Tame little chap sat and helped us eat our lunch!

This one allowed me to get very close so the TC 2.0 was not particularly helpful in low light (hence high iso 3200). 1/60 shot with 600mm proved that image stabilizer works nicely.
