Robin in the garden

My first Robin shot. Ive been wanting to photograph a Robin for ages. Not the best i know but im quite happy with it for my first. Criticism welcome.

Not a 100% faithful reproduction, but something a fancied knocking up with my Robin torso decal.

I only had crushed dog biscuit to tempt it!

Captured using a Nikon 70-200VR f2.8 @ 200mm on tripod and Nikon D3 on high speed frame mode using MC-36 remote.

The robin is one of the UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familiar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! It's delightful song can be heard year round.

 

This was one was singing its heart out on Boxing Day in the charming Highland Black Isle Village of Cromarty

I got a day off today ,so got to use mt Canon 500d, so took this picture of this Robin in my garden, totally enjoyable day. The ISO was on Auto and I took this through double glazing, don't know if this makes a difference or not , Iso was quite high so probably grainy
