Another pic from the old boiler hall. Great architecture and history, one of my favorite places in helsinki.

Heat lightning gave me good reason to stop on a bike ride to work early before sunrise.

Rider On The Storm

HDR Version

calming music for a weekend morning lol

3 lightning strikes in one go! The middle lightning "touched down" at the famed KL Tower, tallest building in Kuala Lumpur. Certainly not an everyday sight. Luck, or what we Malays would say : "rezeki" was on me yesterday :)

Shot at level 20 of Berembang Apartment, Kuala Lumpur. The big "vein' you see is the AKLEH Highway, connecting Ampang with KL.

A little electro-shock, anyone? Nice lightning bolt, just outside of Grimes Iowa from the storm that blew thru Adair to Bondurant, knocking off the roof of the Wooden Nickel bar.

My first ever lightning pic from a storm this summer

As I watched the storm grow closer, I started hearing Metallica's "ride the lightning" in my head.

This one ain’t gonna kill you, that is of course if your not going the wrong direction.

FYI, my last three pics were all named after songs from Metallica's "Ride the Lightning" album.

Well whaddya know, it's Taser Thursday!

Avoid this situation by following the law and police instructions.

So, Happy Easter everyone! :)

That's the new dress my mom bought me yesterday. I like it :) Anyway! Today wasn't anything exciting really. I lied around most of the day until my aunt and grandmother came over and so did my brother with his puppy. We had stuffed pork chops with broccoli and garlic bread for dinner. Cheesecake for dessert :)

I haven't seen the puppy since my brother moved out of my father's house. Well, she's a dog, but I'll always give her the title of puppy :) I said she's gotten fat, but my brother insists she's "Filled out" haha.

Well anyway, now my mom is getting ready to work again, so it'll just be me and my little sister until 11.30 tonight. Oh! I like this song! "Hate My Life" by Theory Of A Deadman! Good song, haha.

So now, I have nothing to do. Hmmm... Friday I'm going over to a friend's house. "Mike"'s house. He can drive now, so I'll get a ride from him :) I just have to figure out what the hell I'm going to do the rest of the week! I love vacation, but it gets boring after a while, haha.

I should probably continue that book I'm writing... Hm.

"Feel no pain, but my life ain't easy

I know I'm my best friend

No one cares, but I'm so much stronger

I'll fight until the end

To escape from the true false world

Undamaged destiny

Can't get caught in the endless circle

Ring of stupidity

Out for my own, out to be free

One with my mind, they just can't see

No need to hear things that they say

Life is for my own to live my own way

Rape my mind and destroy my feelings

Don't tell me what to do

I don't care now, 'cause I'm on my side

And I can see through you

Feed my brain with your so called standards

Who says that I ain't right

Break away from your common fashion

See through your blurry sight

Out for my own, out to be free

One with my mind, they just can't see

No need to hear things that they say

Life is for my own to live my own way

See they try to bring the hammer down

No damn chains can hold me to the ground

Life is for my own to live my own way..."

("Escape" by Metallica from the Ride the Lightning album) GOD I love this band. Have since I was eight! Gah!

I'm still drooling over that price of CS4... If only...

Metallica in 1984 with new lead guitarist Kirk Hammett. This is considered the classic lineup of Metallica which would last another album but would tragically be cut short by the death of bassist Cliff Burton, on the far right, in a horrific accident involving their tour bus slipping on some black ice in Sweden in 1986. He was 27.

Who said a lightning doesn't strike into a see? Here's a big one in front of Costa Adeje during the megastorm at the Tenerife. It rained so much my camera broke down, but this shot was definitely worth it.

To all the people who enjoy Metallica´s music

Således er Metallicas 2. album ”Ride The Lightning”, ”Master of Puppets” (nr. 3) og dobbeltalbummet ”And Justice for All” (nr. 4) optaget og produceret i studiet på Amager.

a little Lars Ulrich head bobbler that sits on a shelf in my room, add a little fun lighting and a dodgy bandana for a backdrop... and there he is!!! :D
