Upcycled from a dress from the Goodwill. I was able to get 10 napkins out of the skirt.

I reused the spokes on the TT250 front wheel. They were just a bit dull from oxidation, so I washed them and rubbed them out with Autosol polish. I've never reused spokes before, but they were nice enough that there wasn't really a need to replace them.

Could someone (maybe native to Whitstable, or maybe not) explain how they recycle oyster shells? Some sort of out reach programme for homeless crustation?

These crates are always there, always full, always stinking to high heaven and I've no idea where they go.

Made from Grandma's fabric and a thrifted bed sheet. Folded up, it fits into my purse.

Ever get to the point where you just don't know where to put another thing? A few books, for instance?

Well, you've just gotta be resourceful, think outside the box and all that.

Which reminds me, they're always saying that. But, which box do they actually mean?

in reality, to make this shirt i recycled a shirt of mine that was in the goodwill pile. the original shirt buttoned down the front (and puckered funny, hence the banishment), so i used the existing buttons/holes to make the back panel and the back to make the front. i used a seam ripper on the darting that made the unwanted pucker- maybe in the future i can try that rather than donating the shirt! the front yoke and straps were cut from the sleeves.

i'm totally going to tell people that i put those buttonholes in though.
