This was reused for the Benedictine cardinal Nicolò Tedeschi (d. 1445). In the centre of the front panel is a priestess wearing a tiara or headband and a palla (cloak). She has a fish (?) in her hand. On her right is a man wearing a tunic and a toga. He is holding a papyrus. Behind is a woman leaning on a stick and in front of her is a vase with a bird. The scene is either a wedding ritual or propitiatory one preceding a wedding, with the centralfigures representing a priestess or pronuba and the bride and groom. Cattedrale di Palermo, Italy
