In 2002 Triumph launched the first new Bonneville for 15 years , the Bonneville 790. Powered by a 790 cc (48 cu in) 360° crankshaft parallel-twin engine, the retro styled T100 was styled by John Mockett and David Stride. The T100 designation harking back to the Triumph T100 built between 1959 and the mid 1970s and it is sold as part of Triumph's Modern classics range. The engine features double electrically heated carburettors. Triumph added an air injection unit near the spark plug to achieve emission regulations introduced in 2007
In 2005 the engine was uprated to 865cc air-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin, 360° as used on the Triumph Thruxton.
In 2008 the T100 was further updated with fuel injection to meet new Euro 3 emissions legislation. As well as cleaner running than a carburettor engine, the fuel injected system is also easier to start from cold. To retain the 'retro' styling the fuel injectors are hidden behind throttle bodies designed to resemble carburettors. 2017 saw a radical range of updates most notably a displacement increase to a 900cc fuel injected, to meet new Euro 3 emissions legislation. As well as cleaner running than a carburettor engine, the fuel injected system is also easier to start from cold.

Asqiuth Moto Company originally of Braintree Essex, produced a range hand built retro-styled vans, Production was well over 1000 vans in the retro-style with modern mechanics and running gear. The aim of the niche market was to supply a van that utilised the potential of mass market advertising through the appeal of its quirky historic looks.
The vans were designed by company founder Bruce West, with a small van, the Asquith Shetland based on a Reliant Fox and this larger Asquith Shire van based on the mechanics and running gear of a Ford Transit 100.
This van was being used by one of the traders at the show.
