I've had the monkey on my back all week & now it's the weekend, I've got two monkeys, only they've moved to the side. Lame.
This thrifted dress is prickly, in fact it's a nightmare to wear. So it's going back to the thrift shop. Pity, because it looks good in the photo. But I wont' be returning the scarf & faux silver turquoise belt to the thrift store where I found them. They're not prickly.
I bought this wonderful thick bangle made from what looks like rice paper from 'Cambodia House', a great shop that sells stuff from there. Gold flats from 'Target'.

"It wasn’t always easy, but this? This is wonderful."
He took a deep breath, enjoying the cool morning air as he leaned against his beloved scooter. The outfit today was particularly fun: a soft cream colored sweater tucked into a skirt with a gentle A-line shape, and an oversized beige jacket that almost felt like a cozy hug. He’d added a scarf in a muted shade of grey for texture, its woolly softness contrasting beautifully the crispness of cotton shirt beneath. The colors were soothing – earth tones reflecting his love for calm mornings like this one.
He remembered years of listening to others, letting their opinions dictate the shapes he wore. Then he realized how much he’d been missing! Now, he's free to embrace a look that resonates with him, and often it is playful.
This morning, heading to his ceramics class where he makes whimsical animal mugs, he felt a little self-conscious. He expected a double take or two. Instead? Smiles. A nod of approval from the baker. The young girl across the street shouted, "Lovely skirt!" It's amazing how many people you can connect with just by being yourself!

Traditional houses and cobblestone street in Alaçatı, a pretty little town on Çeşme Peninsula by Aegean Sea, in Izmirn province, Aegean region of Turkey.
Alacati has been famous for its architecture, vineyards and windmills for over 150 years has now made its name in the world of windsurfing and kitesurfing, with its crystal clear water, consistent and steady wind (for an average of 300 days a year). Alacati is one of the most traditional towns in Turkey with stone houses, narrow streets, boutique hotels and restaurants with tables on the streets.

It's Monday morning, & first up I'm trying to deconstruct a Wordsworth poem.. The moon descends & the poet is worried that his girlfriend will die someday. Everyone yawned.
I'm wearing one of my favourite retro frocks, bought a few years ago at the Surry Hills Market in Sydney. It only gets an occasional airing because I don't want to ruin it.
I love my new yellow footless tights from 'Sportsgirl'. They match my yellow cuffs from 'Diva'.

Der Mercedes 75 PS ist das erste Serienautomobil der Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft mit Sechszylindermotor.
Das Topmodell der Jahre 1907 bis 1911 wird in verschiedenen Karosserievarianten angeboten. Das ausgestellte Fahrzeug ist ein offener Tourenwagen (Phaeton) mit zwei Sitzreihen - eine Ausführung, die auch "Doppelphaeton" genannt wird.

Dieses mächtige Auto besaß einen ebenso mächtigen Motor.

Es war die größte Maschine, die Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in einen Mercedes eingebaut wurde, und der erste Sechszylinder der schwäbischen Firme überhaupt.
Es gab jedoch auch Fahrzeuge mit Luftschiffmotoren und 200 PS Leistung. Diese Form der Karosserie wurde damals als Doppeltonneau oder Doppelphaeton bezeichnet. Für dieses Modell waren damals gigantische 3.120 Mark Jahressteuer fällig, was jedoch einige Gutbetuchte Automobilfreunde nicht vom Kauf abhielt.

A white 2013 Chevrolet Heritage High Roof, retro-styled station wagon. The vehicle's design was inspired by the mid-1940s Chevrolet cars and trucks. This one was in the Shop Rite supermarket parking lot in Carmel, New York.
