I've had the monkey on my back all week & now it's the weekend, I've got two monkeys, only they've moved to the side. Lame.
This thrifted dress is prickly, in fact it's a nightmare to wear. So it's going back to the thrift shop. Pity, because it looks good in the photo. But I wont' be returning the scarf & faux silver turquoise belt to the thrift store where I found them. They're not prickly.
I bought this wonderful thick bangle made from what looks like rice paper from 'Cambodia House', a great shop that sells stuff from there. Gold flats from 'Target'.

People come in these beautiful vintage dresses to experience the historic ride in a steam locomotive across Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
A white 2013 Chevrolet Heritage High Roof, retro-styled station wagon. The vehicle's design was inspired by the mid-1940s Chevrolet cars and trucks. This one was in the Shop Rite supermarket parking lot in Carmel, New York.

A bus from the collection of the Moscow Transport Museum, produced in 1947 — the very first year of mass production of the ZIS-154. It was discovered in the late 1980s and early 1990s on a dacha plot near the Moscow region town of Shchyolkovo, where the bus was used as a utility structure: its interior was fitted with a shower and used to store firewood. In 1992, the bus was transported for restoration to the Aremkuz factory, and four years later, the restoration was completed. Interestingly, although several preserved examples of the ZIS-154 are known, this bus is the only one with a fully functional power unit and is capable of moving on its own.

Автобус из коллекции Музея Транспорта Москвы выпуска 1947 года — самого первого года серийного выпуска ЗИС-154. Обнаружили её на рубеже 1980–1990-х годов на дачном участке возле подмосковного города Щёлково, где автобус использовался в качестве хозяйственной постройки: в его салоне был оборудован душ и хранились дрова. В 1992 году автобус перевезли для реставрации на территорию завода «Аремкуз», а четыре года спустя работы по восстановлению завершились. Кстати, несмотря на то, что на данный момент известно о нескольких сохранившихся образцах ЗИС-154, именно этот автобус является единственным с полностью рабочей силовой установкой и способен двигаться самостоятельно.
