Had a great time at the National Trust's Clumber Park Wartime Weekend. Re-enactors, vintage vehicles, memorabilia, stalls, wartime songs and so much more.

Most of my contacts know that my neighborhood has been under Canada Geese attack for a couple of years now. Even though they can fly for free, they stopped flying back to Canada for spring-summer season and settled in North Carolina. They are NOT good neighbors! They poop all over the place, they block traffic during morning rush hours as they constantly cross the road back and forth (someone really takes this "grass is greener on the other side" expression literally), and they eat everything in sight.
Fast forward to today. I was driving back from work and saw this new sign in our neighborhood. I had to stop the car, block the traffic (I am learning from the best!) and take a picture. So this is it. It is time to surrender. I think I am gonna bake them "welcome to the neighborhood" cake tomorrow.
