Airbus A320-214 - Air Malta - 9H-AEI (Named - Rabat - Citta Vittoria, painted in "Retro (1974)" - special livery) - Takeoff at UUDD - 15.08.2015.
A nice retro scene created by D6948 as it crosses Sandbourne Viaduct with a rake of maroon Mk.1 coaches.
D6948 dates back to 1964 and was preserved in 2009.
The loco is beautifully preserved by the Growler Group and is usually resident at the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway. It was visiting the Severn Valley Railway for their '65 Years Of Class 37s' event.
The Growler nickname comes from the loco's distinctive engine noise.
The Tunnel Trekker is a small walker designed to work in tandem with a ground crew. It is armed with a mining laser to carve away slabs of rock for the crew to process, as well as an auto-cannon for fending off rock monsters.

Still trying to learn photoshop.... aiming for the retro look for portraits - with a twist... hmm... OK will try some more later... after a splash in the neighborhood pool.

This one started off experimenting with the body shape. I think it turned out ok but I'm not super excited with it. I imagine that before the Battle for the Moon heated up, both countries established small colonies on the moon and did lunar science. When the war began and the respective militaries took over, these still useful unarmed mecha were retained for utility roles far from the front lines.
One of the highlights of the static display at this year's Royal International Air Tattoo was the visit from the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight with three of their aircraft. Here, their two-seater Draken lands at RAF Fairford at the end of the first day's flying display.
