Neben dem blauen Einheitslack finden sich im Nachbarland doch noch allerhand bunte Farbvarianten aus alten Tagen. Die 130 027 ist dabei die Retro Vertreterin ihrer Baureihe. Am 22.07.2022 trat sie mit dem 60103 von Most nach Ostrava eine lange Reise an. Noch recht am Anfang der Tour wurde sie bei Lukavec eingefangen.

German Transall 50+40 turns North-East away from the Schleswig-Holstein coast en route to further waypoints on this photo flight.
The aircraft wears a fresh special paint scheme. it combines the four colour schemes the German Transall aircraft have worn through history...
The C-160 belongs to the Lufttransportgeschwader 63 based at Hohn AB.
Until end of 2021 the type will be phased out of the German Luftwaffe inventory. It´s successor the A400M of the Luftransportgeschwader62 at Wunstorf AB will have taken over the duties of German military air transport.
Definitely last of the subway pics for a while, Swiss Cottage, for me evoking strong memories of living in NW London as a 10 year and riding the tube network with friends for entertainment! Definitely bygone days.....

Egy évvel ezelőtt zajlott az ETCS nélküli járművek hattyúdala a csehországi korridorokon, aminek kapcsán hosszú évek után ismét eljutottak Kassára a ČD 151-es sorozatú Banánjai. December 28-án a retró 151 023 dolgozott a 241-es számú, Prágából Kassára tartó EuroCity élén, mely a fenti képen Kassára jár be, háttérben a tahanovcei lakóteleppel.
A year ago, the swan song of ETCS-free vehicles took place on the Czech corridors, which led to the return of the ČD 151 series Bananas to Košice after many years. On December 28, the retro 151 023 worked at the head of EuroCity number 241, heading from Prague to Košice, which in the picture above is entering Košice, with the Tahanovce housing estate in the background.

SU42-510 of Morvi is slowly rolling on the Polish Embankment of the Gdynia harbour, with a couple of empty wagons for loading.
This picture concluded my week-long stay in northern Poland, where I had the occasion to roam around the areas of the harbour of Gdynia once again. It's an activity, which I have done many times already during my countless stays in the area over the years (because my relatives here), but I still haven't gotten bored of it, as there is always something new going on.
This week, two things caught my attention, both of which I managed to photograph on this shot. First - the smaller of the Stena ferries now moor on the "Nabrzeże Polskie". Second - a new locomotive appeared on the sidings of Gdynia! The SU42-510 very recently, after one of the repairs, was repainted into the traditional SP42 scheme (though more modern headlights were installed), and now looks more or less like SU42-536, which was repaired in 2019. It seems to have made a brief appearance and most likely will be replaced by some other locomotive in this role soon. During my stay it was shunting around with wagons of Budamar, which, combined with their brown livery, made for a semi-retro experience :).

In a very dull and wet morning, 071 approaches crossing XW125 near Ballyhale with the weekly Belview Port-Ballina XPO liner (rear 4 wagons laden with DANA tanks).

Riddled with program descrepancies and circuiting errors, the Goof Bot has almost no good qualities. It cannot even handle the simplest tasks. Usually only brought out and powered up when in need of a good laugh. It stumbles and stutters and mutters giberish.
Another retro-ish bot while I have all the grey out, and yes the eyes are tied down with string.
