Hello again, fellow LEGO fans! I thought it was about time I built something other than BIONICLE or spaceships, and I was inspired by the recently-released modular police station. So I decided to create a suitably 50s-70s-styled police car and van/truck that would fit in nicely with that set.
Initially I just did the car and the van, but then I thought if I want to go and work as a LEGO designer, I should try and think like a LEGO designer. So then I built the little buggy and found a bike to go with the van, to create that kind of play scenario you'd find in real LEGO sets.
I'm pleased with the result, and I hope you like them too!
This is a painting a made in a few hours. It looks vector but its not, just painted in Photoshop.
I used a font from 1001freefonts.com called Becker Black.
I wanted to do something with a retro propaganda poster look, and I love Futurama so here it is!

su uso tenéis que aplicarla como mosaico en las opciones de fondo de
blogger, si queréis que los motivos se vean más pequeños tenéis que
cambiar el formato pero manteniendo las mismas proporciones. Por
ejemplo si la imagen es de 20x24 cambiala a 10x12.

Whilst clearing the attic before getting some renovations to the house I found a box full of books from my childhood.
This is from a book called 366 Goodnight stories, with stories for everyday of the year. I thought their little faces were cute. It was printed by Hamlyn originally in 1963 and then again in 1969. The illustrations were done by 4 people, Esme Eve, Jill Franksen, Gwyneth Mamlok and Porter-G, I'm not sure who these ones were done by, it doesn't indicate who done what.
There are a ton of tiny illustrations like these, all the stories are only a couple of paragraphs long or perhaps a poem.
