Now that i'm almost in holidays, i can finally take pictures of my girls (and boy) ! It took me forever to tie Anya's bangs, but i'm pretty satisfied with the result ! Hope you'll like it too :)

This has a retro feel to it! the colour of the dress and cardigan are reminiscent of a time since past.
I was walking along the river when I spotted this retro display - old truck, posters, etc. I didn't know it at the time - but apparently there is a Retro Museum in Takayama.
The Miyagawa River runs through Takayama, with the old town on one side and the newer extension on the other.
The Miyagawa morning market runs along the river bank and is fun and enjoyable to visit with a range of fresh food, baked goods, souvenir shops and others. But walking in the other direction was an unexpected pleasure - a scenic walk indeed.

Just what I like, an old shop front with some original signage. I did see some pics from 10+ years ago and it was some sort of retro clothing shop. They didn't mess around with the signage though.

Polymer clay pendant on a 17" antique copper cross chain necklace with lobster clasp.
The pendant is about 2 1/2" x 5/8" ( 65 mm x 15 mm).
The chain is 17" (44 cm) long.
Retro jets on wide-bodies are all the rage at the moment! Lufthansa are doing it, Pakistan International Airlines are doing it so let's put Turkish Airlines to the growing list...
The Airbus A330 forms the back-bone to Turkish Airlines wide-body fleet, operating both short-haul and long-haul flights from its Istanbul-Atatürk hub. In late October 2015, one of its long-haul configured Airbus A330-200's was chosen to carry Turkish Airlines 1970's colour scheme, which is certainly an impressive livery. The livery was introduced to commemorate 125 years of close relations between Turkey and Japan.
Finding this Airbus A330-200 has in the past proven to be difficult given its deployment on both long-haul and short-haul flights, it should be considered that Turkish Airlines have different configurations for its Airbus A330 fleet... Some can operate long-haul and short-haul flights whilst others are only configured to operate flights below 7 hours.
Whilst the Turkish Airlines retro jet has been ticked off, there are many others to still capture considering the variety. Turkish Airlines is one of 3 airlines in the world to operate all 3 engine variants of the Airbus A330, whilst most have been delivered brand new, others have been delivered second-hand from other operators. The next mission is to find the former Skymark Airlines Airbus A330-300's.
Currently, Turkish Airlines have 65 Airbus A330's in its fleet, which includes 19 Airbus A330-200's (4 are currently in storage) 9 Airbus A330-200F's and 27 Airbus A330-300's.
Juliet November Charlie is one of 19 Airbus A330-200's in service with Turkish Airlines, delivered new to the flag-carrier in May 2006 and she is powered by 2 General Electric CF6-80E1A3 engines. She was previously named after the north west city of Bursa in the Marmara Region until October 2015 when she gained Turkish Airlines 1970's retro livery and gained the new name, Kushimoto after the 125th anniversary since the ErtuÄŸrul shipwreck in Kushimoto, Japan; and 30 years ago since 215 Japanese passengers boarded a Turkish Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-10 from Tehran at the height of the Iran-Iraq War.

Still tweaking some things. Need to grab some trans clear cylinder halves for the cockpit (and then build the cockpit *YAWN* Why are cockpits so boring to create??) Would love to chrome this baby up...

After the BAT-GARC was destroyed at Persei Eight Grand Prix, Team Gotham had to resort to their backup retro BAT-GARC, a raceship from the 2260s.
When i was last in Hong Kong i went to a Technology Fair and saw this new camera phone being developed. It's due to be released today, April 1st, must keep an eye on the news to see if it does come out!!
