This was on the floor of the bus from Ottawa to Montreal...right in front of my seat. I wonder how long it's been there and if it remains...

The Scribe's Residence was a residential complex where his family and retainers lived. The complex of buildings in Las Sepulturas could have housed as many as 250 people. Buildings were arranged around courtyards of varying size and prestige, including houses that may have been artisan workshops, temples, shrines, storage rooms and kitchens. A community of Lenca tradesmen or artisans from central Honduras may have been part of the patriarch's extended household.

This was the home of a powerful lineage of scribes and artists. Scribes at Copan, especially after the rule of Ruler 13, were held in very high esteem. Scribes wrote the codices, kept tribute lists and genealogies, made corrections to the lunar and solar calendars, and recorded ancient rituals and ceremonies.

The bearing retainer is a bicycle light clamp! (but sadly the clamp part that sticks out was causing balancing issues, so that didn't fly...)

Door weatherstrips are attached to vehicle door with self-adhesive tape or retainers (plastic clips) and acts as the first sealing barrier between vehicle door and body, preventing various outside elements like water, air, dust and noise from entering the vehicle cabin. Door weatherstrips (primary door seal) are used together with opening trim weatherstrips (secondary door seal) to achieve better performance.

Both marquee retainer bars are now installed. The artwork is between 2 sheets of lexan (which is really tough stuff, but also a little pricey).

I had to remove the T-Molding to fix the marquee, so that I didn't get paint on it and accidentally cut it with the jigsaw.
