Die-Tech Offroad Seat Retainer for 2007-2012 JK... on a 2014 JK. Doesn't quite fit right - a bit too long. However you can kinda force/slide it in place sideways and it will prop the seat up. Extremely well built, just not the right part for my jeep. Knew that going in to it, but figured i'd chance it since it had been out of stock for so long. I've finally finished mounting the marquee artwork and retainer bars. The bars are completely flush now, and both retainer bars are secured.The artwork is between 2 sheets of lexan (which is really tough stuff, but also a little pricey).
I had to remove the T-Molding to fix the marquee, so that I didn't get paint on it and accidentally cut it with the jigsaw.
The retainer had no sealant. The lens was sealed with electrical tape. The retainer needs to be sealed because it can trap moisture in between the retainer and the skin. The trapped moisture migrates along the screws into the wing structure.
This one was a lot of fucking work, although it doesn't look like it. These things are almost like flowers and fall over easily so it was insaneosly hard to make them all stand. But there you go, I somehow made it happen.
