Braces are quite inconvenient. After months of wearing those fixed braces, you’ve finally reached the stage where your teeth are free and your smile is restored, except now the doctor orders you to wear retainers. Retainers are much easier to wear for someone who has already gone through the ordeal of wearing braces, but these are removable devices that require regular care.
I found out that with these spring retainers on the strut housing, the coil over will not fit without bending them down.

Okubo Hikozaemon (1560-1639) was an important retainer of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who unified Japan in 1600 and established the Tokugawa Bakufu in 1600. Hikozaemon literally saved Ieyasu's life in battle against the Takeda and became one of Ieyasu's most trusted advisors. Okubo called it like he saw it and wasn't shy about speaking his mind. Due to the respect Ieyasu had for him, Okubo also served the second Tokugawa Shogun,
Hidetada, as well as his son, Iemitsu
.
Okubo is interred in two places places--one of them is his home province of Mikawa (present day Aichi prefecture) and the other iis Ryugyo-ji Temple in the Shirokane section of Minato-ku, Tokyo (pictured here). The temple was built in 1631 in Ichibei-machi, Azabu, by Hikozaemon, but it was later moved to Shirokane in 1668.

Be careful not to lose the two plastic insulators. The one with the hole goes under the bar, and the full one goes between the bar, and the battery bay contact strips.

The Scribe's Residence was a residential complex where his family and retainers lived. The complex of buildings in Las Sepulturas could have housed as many as 250 people. This was the home of a powerful lineage of scribes and artists. Scribes at Copan, especially after the rule of Ruler 13, were held in very high esteem. Scribes wrote the codices, kept tribute lists and genealogies, made corrections to the lunar and solar calendars, and recorded ancient rituals and ceremonies.

A sandbag wall nearly 2 meters hold water that is pumped from the adjacent street. The sound you hear is that of the water pump, which burned out later on in the night.
