This Kroger grocery store opened in May 2015 in the former grocery section of the now Former Super Kmart Center/Kmart. The general merchandise portion of the Kmart store is still open to this day but is now much smaller due to kroger moving in
Mint condition holiday catalog from Tops Friendly Markets. All the coupons are still intact after 31 years.
The checkout counter and POS system appear to have been donated by Walmart. I'm not sure what the computer is for, although I would assume it's for back end management. As it is not a university standard computer.
Check It Out is a "store" run by the Center for Retail Management at the University of Houston Downtown campus. The store uses a point system and accepts no other payments. It is there to give field experience to students while still being a controlled environment.

Last year this was our last week of operations at Super Fresh 463 Marlton, N.J., which I called "The Grand Dame of Super Fresh Markets". This is a shot I took 01-07-13 and missed posting last year. I took it after coming to work after the final weekend where everything went to 75% or more off, which reduced the inventory to half an aisle and some end caps.
