While Sainsburys self-censors their 'adult magazines', they let the dirty cereals run free.

First test build of a new model of an everyday modern type of building. This is the rear view. Personnel and loading doors can be added as desired. Recent releases from the excellent Oxford Diecast range help to set the scene.

This is the view from outside of the store show it's relatively small. It is located in a hallway across from and next to class rooms. Other than the window decals there's no other indication of the business in the whole building.
Check It Out is a "store" run by the Center for Retail Management at the University of Houston Downtown campus. The store uses a point system and accepts no other payments. It is there to give field experience to students while still being a controlled environment.

This Ames on Main Street in East Hartford originally opened in March 1970 as the second Zayre in Connecticut (first one was in Southington). Ames took it over in 1989 when Zayre closed, as it lies vacant today.
Upon a visit in 2006, I was harshly questioned, no grilled, by the dapper, elderly "property owner."
One of the once familiar work-ponies on the Biddulph to Festival Park run gets set to move away from the then main High Street stop outside the Town Hall.

A little modern day retail therapy.
Off to IKEA we went. Having decided on the bathroom sink and furniture, purchasing it required touch screen computer, scanning a QR code, loading order onto phone, production of bar code, payment by barcode and credit card, and then finally a member of staff wheeled out a loaded trolley. This really is stretching my IT skills. Marion only loaded a QR reader App yesterday for the first time. We are rapidly becoming a Fred and Wilma couple!

Roses of Southern Durham. This location is down the road from Southpoint Mall. The other Roses in Durham is at North Duke Mall across town.
