Director Tim Hetherington (right), died in Libya on April 20, 2011, while covering the ongoing conflict. American soldier Restrepo died in 2007 while fighting Taliban forces in Korengal Valley, one of the deadliest places in Afghanistan. The director's camera followed the American soldiers while they were engaging the Taliban forces and captured the moment when one of the soldiers was killed. The death moment came without warning for the people on camera as well as for the audience. We could see then the dead soldier's brothers in arms, all tough guys, bursting in tears. I found myself gasping for air and I had a sickening feeling when the sergeant told the soldiers: "Cover his face!". A remarkable photojournalist who paid the ultimate price.
