My new toy.
Living right in the middle of the city is different from being in the suburbs. Cars go by all the time, even in the dead of night, creating a continuous rumble that never seems to stop; manifesting into a sort of resonating headphones effect. The sky is vast, but skyscrapers and elevated bridges fight for their places among the drifting clouds. When it rains, the city turns into a sea of white fog and miserable drizzle that mist onto the glass windows. When it's sunny, hot sun streams in and burns the beige couches and flat carpets. No one stops in the city, even for a minute or two. Tourists wielding bulky cameras with the straps circled around their necks pause to take dead pictures, then move on. Businessmen stalk quickly through the crowds, plugged into earphones with their mobile phones clutched tightly in their hands. Students trip on in clacking shoes and overloaded bags, avoiding people nimbly. The smells of baking pies and roasted coffee, gutter water and fresh leather along with car exhaust congeal in the air. When night settles, the shadows in the alleys slink out and take their place among the working classes in silence. Glass bottles are smashed on the pavements, mingling with still burning cigarette butts. Police sirens let out their shrill scream as they tear through the dark streets. Lying on a bed in the middle of the night, listening to the sound of the city as it breathes.. Dark rooms and tiny windows, muffled voices and television static. This is what it is like.
This quote really resonated with me.
I think I need to find daily quotes to fire me up for the day. I'm really starting to lose the plot I really am. This whole COVID business is starting to grind me down.
So I'm going to put that to one side every single morning. My routine now won't include:
Checking social media first thing in the morningChecking the news first thing in the morning
That is such a negative way to start the day. It really puts me on the back foot. Even if the sun is shining all I see is COVID. It's a horrendous way to get going. I may even get to the point where I leave my phone downstairs when I go to bed. I really can't take it so much anymore.
Instead, the first things I will do is get up find a motivational quote to start the day. This is day one photo. I'll use it to find gratitude and love. Use it to find ways to release myself from the negativity that has built during the day. Use it to find peace or tranquility in an otherwise mental world. I'll also use it as a writing prompt for a journal as such. As I haven't written as much as I would have liked recently, this will also help me to get back into that habbit. So on to this quote:
Dedicate yourself to becoming your best
I would say that I'm not at my best right now. Lockdown has not been kind. I have let myself go and it showed at football over the weekend. It's time to get this fixed and move on. At 41 I know my body is going to start showing signs of slowing down and breaking up. If I work hard I can be better than that. I can ensure I get motivated to really get working. Fitness is one aspect, but I've also got to up my productivity game - get stuff done.
So that's the plan. I'm a really visual person, so I'm hoping that using images and quotes to get me going is something that might work. I may publish these, I may not.
I also just really want to publish more stuff overall. I have had enough of dumbly receieving content from the mainstream media. I have largly stopped watching TV so this shouldn't be a problem. In order to
My favourite shot of the amazing aurora display we had in Iceland. I wanted a shot without any foreground, just to focus in on the amazing colour and shapes. One of the best experiences ever!!
Located in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, resonate invites us to ‘feel ourselves deeply embedded within the natural world’ and aims to capture ‘that ineffable feeling – a state of resonance‘.
Upon entering the exhibition, a sound reminiscent of a singing bowl flows through the garden, while the first illuminated installation rotates before viewers. Throughout the gardens, vibrant light installations work in harmony with the natural environment. The use of light and sound creates the illusion of another world. It also augments the natural flow, plant life and landscape of the Botanic Garden.
Highlights of the exhibition include Beginnings, where coordinated pillars of light dance over the garden’s lake in a hypnotic display, and Winterings, where magical, light-bearing spheres float through the atmosphere of the rainforest conservatory, beaming dancing pillars of light across the forest floor. The final display, Aliveness, includes a vibrant soundtrack as lights flare over the garden’s trees, concluding the event with an uplifting sense of hope.
Funny what catches your eye in the most unlikely of locations. This was the textured detail in concrete of a road underpass out near Filton. the way the sun was falling across it turned it into a beautiful formalist patter. I liked the way the flat ribs sat in this composition. somehow felt "comfortable"
I am weighed down by so much I see and hear in media. I don't think we were ever meant to live this way. A breath of fresh air and glimpse of the stars will clear this head. Nature is what is needed.
There are some man-made places where one can easily hear, resonating within a small space, a whole symphony, an ouverture speaking about greatness, an elemental language of struggling faith.
I've found all this, all of a sudden, in the smallest awe-inspiring church ever found. Seen many times in 15 years, but never in its interiors. A jewel, wrapped up with a layer of humbleness, like many mountain's experiences and apparently simple things.

28 October, 2015 – Risso‘s Dolphins Slaughter— at Taiji Japan
In three days, Taiji, Japan will celebrate the history between man and cetaceans at the annual Whale Festival. Love for the ocean’s whales and dolphins resonates from the preparations seen around town. The truth of Taiji’s relationship with dolphins took place today not far from the festival stage in the eighth drive of the 2015 hunting season.
At approximately 0730 am (local Japan time) the Cove Guardians observed the start of a formation. The 3.5 hour drive was too much for this pod of 29 Risso’s dolphins. Overcome with panic and fear, the pod was forced into the cove, their fate being sealed with the dropping of nets behind them.
The younger members of the pod were held back by savage beasts as the executioners slaughtered the other members of the close-knit pod. After watching the brutal, inhumane killing of the elders, the six remaining dolphins were forced to stay under the tarps, swimming in the blood of their own family members before being manhandled into slings and dropped out to sea. The Cove Guardians watched as these dolphins searched helplessly for those now at the butcherhouse.
Greed, not “culture and tradition,” is always the driving force here in Taiji. In fear of the narrowing quota, instead of drowning and dumping juveniles at sea, these monsters released the young, knowing most will not survive without their pod. The executioners destroyed the lives of 29 Risso’s dolphins today, only having to add 23 to the 2015-2016 quota. An annual quota that has never meant anything.
So how many of the 96-99 Risso’s Dolphins murdered this year will be served at the celebratory Whale Festival?
SAY NO TO CAPTIVITY!!!

(MCP Project 52 - Week 45 - BOOK TITLE)
(Our Daily Challenge - CONNECTIONS)
"The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein
Whether you are a dog lover, or not, this is a highly recommended book. I laughed, I cried, but mostly I related to a lot in this book, a wonderful, poignant story of the connection between man and dog. I am highly connected to my dogs and lots of things in this story resonated with me and my relationship with my dogs.
The dog you see here is 6 month old Patrice. She is not mine though, but a puppy I am raising for Canine Companions for Independence; she is only mine for another year or so. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and have been training and socializing her to prepare her for another 6-9 months of additional training at the end of which, hopefully she will be placed as a Service Dog for a disabled person by the time she is about 2 years old. People always ask puppy raisers "How can you give them up?" It is amazing to watch the connection between a Service Dog and the person they are helping. When you see that, that's how you know you can give them up....
Watching the House Select Committee Hearing on Jan 6th Riots today, there was one statement that resonated, “Telling the Truth In America Is Hard”. This was made by one of the Officers Assaulted during the Riots. You could see the emotional and physiological effects it had on the officers and some Senators. Many in the Whistleblower, Targeted Community, know this all to well. Watching the officers testimonies, and listening to the comments from the Rioters, the mob control mentality, the racial slurs, the threats, acts of harm and destruction, a point where mob control overpowers law enforcement; these are acts that I have been addressing for years. I mentioned years ago, “There will be a time when Law Enforcement won’t be able to control this Mob Mentality”.
If you watched the hearings, you watched the truth in America. You watched the mentality of those involved in Gang Stalking and America’s Mobbing Culture. Yes, I said Gang Stalking. It is Domestic Terrorism, in our homes, neighborhoods, our communities, our workplace. It’s Stalking and Mobbing Across State Lines. You may have heard the officers asking Senators to hold those participating accountable. Not only did they ask for them to be held accountable, but those in Government who helped. Now, why is that so hard to do with the technology we have today?
Let me again share some Truths about America. Parents, Grandparents and others; use children to mob, stalk, harass and bait Targets in America. Such was the case yesterday in a Walmart that Koda and I visited. There was a woman waiting at the pasta sauce; she used her two children and herself to completely block products that I routinely purchase. She seemed proud doing so. Then there was a man who used his two children. He waited by the bottled water, the orange juice cooler, dairy coolers, then Ice Cream freezers, to block, mob and bait Koda and I. Then there were the Walmart employees, some the same that mobbed, blocked and baited Koda and I, the last time two times we visited that store. When I was at the checkout register, I asked to speak to a manager, (not to be a Karn, but to tactfully address this). While waiting; I was mobbed by a group of young employees, none of them a manager. I had to repeatedly ask for an actual adult manager. When a manager did finally show up; I addressed the mobbing, blocking and harassment. I told him; it can be seen on their own cameras, from the time I step out of my car in the lot and throughout the store. This was on the 30th Anniversary, of the passing of the America with Disabilities Act. Here it is; the ADA’s 30th Anniversary and Americans are mobbing, harassing, blocking and baiting a Veteran with Service Connected Disabilities and his Service Dog. This whole time, Koda laid at my feet. This is one of the many things I’ve taught him, when I stop for an extended period, he will lay at my feet. He was a shelter dog that wasn’t even leash trained when I adopted him. A dog that now turns right, left, sets, waits, heels, responds correctly to crosswalk audio, helps pull heavy carts, loves kids and other dogs. This dog saved my life in Arizona, it's not an exaggeration, and men and women in America are teaching children to harass and bait him. That’s the Truth in America!
This not only happened at Walmart on this day, but the laundromat we used and a Subway we stopped at. We receive this type of treatment every day, almost every store and community we visit.
There have been many in the Targeted community; that have address this Mobbing/Stalking to Law Enforcement, FBI, Senators, Congressmen and Attorney Generals. We have heard excuse after excuse, and many times blamed. What we do receive is dismissal and retaliation. This is the Truth in America! As I travel from State to State, trying to receive something that resembles competent VA Medical Care; Koda and I are Mobbed, Harassed and Baited, from hospital to hospital, clinic to clinic. This is from VA staff and many Veterans themselves. This is what happens when you address shortcoming in our VA system. That’s the Truth in America!
I am not against Law Enforcement, but we know and have seen the corruption within these agencies. At my last camp; I was being harassed by a couple and was recording it. The man walked up to me, slapped the back of my hand, knocked the phone out of my hand. Being on Public Lands, I called Forest Service; to be given the run-a-round for two hours. I then called the local Sheriff. A female officer came out. She was very professional, looked at the video I had and asked if I wanted to press charges. I said yes, she seemed eager to help me, but when a Senior Officer showed up, he was full of excuses of why they can’t charge for this or that. I showed officers actual video of me being assaulted, and I get excuses.
I can show you a video of a man using his young daughter to destroy a lean-too and bed I made. A mountain road gave out; picture above. Our right rear axle to the Motorhome dropped off the side of the road, and we were stuck. There was a 300-foot drop, the Motorhome was leaning, so we slept on the side of the road, in front of our Motorhome. I made a lean-too out of tarps and coolers and made a nice bed under it. If you look close, you can see the lean-too in front of the Motorhome. We had no cell signal, there was a guy riding a bike by that did. He called the Sheriff’s for me. Someone from the Sheriff’s office showed up late that night to assess the situation. I received the run around from that Sheriff’s office for a week. I was told; (by great people who stopped and called for me) I refused help when I didn’t. Not only that, but I was told a crew would be up to help me; they didn’t show. I was told Forest Service would stop by; I didn’t see them. Koda and I were up there for a week, to be mobbed, baited and harassed daily. There was one guy that brought his little boy up. He had this toddler on a tiny motorcycle, riding circles behind my car and dolly. There is a 300 foot drop of the side of the road; this guy has his young boy riding circles, trying to get Koda worked up, as he stands smiling, leaning against his truck. This is the Truth in America! I left a note on the Motorhome daily as we walked for miles trying to get a signal. There were great people that would stop by and call the Sheriff’s office daily, asking why no one was helping me. I was able to get a periodic text out to my daughter. I didn’t tell her of the situation, because I didn’t want her to worry. After a week, I typed a long text on my laptop, transferred it to my phone and walked a couple of miles to where I would get a ping. I explained my situation, the lack of help from the Sheriff’s office, and sent it to her. She made some phone calls, had a recovery guy out that evening. He said, he would have me out the next day, showed up the next morning and pulled me out. My daughter told me that when speaking with the Sheriff’s dispatcher; she asked my daughter if I had mental problems. A guy that called for me told me that the female dispatcher he spoke to, said I refused help, another was told they were not aware of it; after days of calls. That’s the truth in America! I can share story after story, show you the evidence, prove everything that I’ve posted; again, no one in Power really cares.
This is what people around the world are seeing as they watch these hearings, these testimonies; no one in power really cares. That’s the Truth in America. As I type this; those in America’s Mobbing Community are buzzing around our camp on motorcycle and ATVs, laughing. You want to know the Truth about America; take a look, read through my photostream. I'm not looking for views or likes, I want to make this a better America for all.
“Why is it so hard to tell the truth in America”
I have Hundreds, maybe Thousands. I call the FBI to inform them of Domestic Terrorism (I have definitive proof), and they hang up on me. I was told to contact Local Law Enforcement; if you’ve read through my post, you know how that goes. They all have excuses; its just a big circle of Plausible Deniability. I want to repeat this before I go into the description: I inform the FBI of Domestic Terrorism and I’m abruptly hung up on me. And, we wonder how Jan 6th could have happened; when the FBI was fully aware of the Threat. Now, do you know what I mean, about Selective Policing in America.
The picture you see, is one of the many people that Stalk, Bait and Harass; my Service Dog and I.
We moved camp today. While I was packing up at the last camp; we received a Convoy of Hate before we pulled out. One man went as far as putting on a Red Jump Suit, stands up on his motorcycle as he passed. This was because Koda was up front, looking out the window, as I loaded the car on it’s dolly.
Now, here at our new camp, many, many miles from our last camp; we are here a few minutes and Karen comes walking from a Fire Lane, to watch. It is the same woman in this picture, but she didn’t have the dog, or backpack. She came up to a fork, that could be seen from our camp. I was setting up the solar panels, Koda was tied to the front side of the Motorhome. She stood at the fork, doing something to cause Koda to growl. When I came around front she stopped. I have it on Video.
Hours later, I was playing fetch with Koda, he was having to much fun: the same woman drags this poor old dog, up the Fire Lane. She does this, so it and she could be seen by Koda. This was just an act to get him excited (he loves to play with other dogs). She literally pulled and yelled at the dog she had; the poor thing could not keep up. Take a good look at it. I have pictures of it all. She was in a hurry to spread her hate. These people could care less about a dog, or their own children it seems. They use children often to harass Targets.
This is a prime Example of people involved in Domestic Terrorism. You Can call it Gang Stalking, Community Stalking, Community Policing; it is Actually Domestic Terrorism. These people spread nothing but Fear, Hate, Intimidation, Mobbing and Terror. They even teach children to do so. Once we were set up; it didn’t take long for the same people that Stormed pass our camp, show up here. One man in a Red Jeep, pulled up on a hill a couple hundred yards behind us and Watched us. . It was just another attempt of Intimidation. It didn’t work….
Direct Energy Weapons are used during this Stalking, Mobbing, Baiting and Hating. Not every time, but they are used. I know its a bold statement, but its the TRUTH. Many Government Employees, along with CIA Agents have reported being Attacked by these Weapons (Havana Syndrome). For years our Government turned its back on them. Now the CIA is supposed to be investigating it. We know how that will go. And, the FBI, apparently doesn’t want to hear about it. BUT, they are doing nothing for the Average American Citizen.
I could care less what others think of my statements. I have TWO thing on my side; TRUTH and HISTORY. History does expose the truth, and one day I’ll be vindicated. If someone you know, is a victim of this type of Domestic Terrorism; please give them the benefit of doubt. Don’t turn your back on them; like our Local/Federal Law Enforcement and Government. “Disgusting”, is and understatement.
I’m not against Law Enforcement, I am against Selective Policing and Cover-up….
As I post this on Flickr, an ATV stops with rows of bright lights, in front of our Motorhome.
You still have trouble believing, read this: www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&s...
The picture posted, was sent to me by one of the many nice people, that did stop to try and help us. This happened north of Durango, Colorado. Many thanks from Koda and I, for all of those that did try to help us, and the couple that brought us Pizza.
Thanks for visiting our photostream. I love this country, but not those trying to destroy it.
Also known as long-nosed horned frog or Malayan leaf frog.
This is one of the darker specimen that I have encounter. Its found by a slow moving stream. I am guessing this is a female looking for a suitable spot to lay its eggs.
Location: Peninsular Malaysia
Size: About 6 - 7 cm
Habitat: This species lives in permanently damp and cool lowland and submontane rainforests among leaf litter. This species may lie still on the forest floor waiting for an unsuspecting prey item to pass by, they then lash out and engulf the prey.
Prey: Spiders, small rodents, lizards and other frogs.
Call: The call is a loud, resonating, metallic "honk" or "henk".
Breeding: Breeding takes place in streams, female frogs attach the eggs to the underside of partially or full submerged rocks or logs. The capsules are large and few in number.
An Interview I heard on CBC Radio yesterday. Scott McPherson's words resonated so I wanted to share them.
Adrienne: As we move further and further away from the great conflicts of the 20th century… Remembrance Day may lose its meaning for some. Our Wellness Columnist, Scott McPherson is here to tell us what the day means to him… and how we can honour our veterans– fallen and still with us– well beyond November 11th. Hi Scott.
Scott: Hi Adrienne.
Adrienne: Now, both of your parents are WWII veterans, Scott?
Scott: Yeah. My Mom served here in Canada. And my Dad was in Europe. At the end of the European campaign, Hitler was on the run, and Dad was mustering to head towards Japan when the bomb on Hiroshima was dropped.
Adrienne: So Remembrance Day is especially meaningful in your family…
Scott: For sure. And not only for our immediate family. Like many families, my parents also had several brothers and sisters that also served, some for full careers. I also had one uncle who was on Dunkirk Beach, another spent four and a half years in a POW camp. For my parents, it’s the most important and personal holiday of the year. In fact, this year will be the first one that Dad and I have not been together at the cenotaph for the services. Normally he would watch or march at the Butterdome.
Adrienne: Have your parents given you any special insights into their war experience that has affected how you celebrate Remembrance Day?
Scott: They both saw their towns lose plenty of young men, so Mom just wanted us kids to show proper respect, which is understandable. Dad was more philosophical. He saw guys were getting off ships and trains, coming home with missing limbs, or blind, or deaf, or suffering from PTSD. Any romance about signing-up disappeared after guys started showing up looking like that. That’s why Dad surprised me when I was six, when I asked him I should try to see all of that.
Adrienne: What did you ask him?
Scott: I wanted to know if we should be sad all day. To honour all the soldiers who never came home. So Dad kneeled down and explained how he felt about it, and what he thought I might want to do. And it felt like the sort of thing that a lot of people would benefit from hearing about.
Adrienne: What was his advice?
Scott: He told me that, while we were there, at the commemoration, at the cenotaph, that we should really think about what all those boys and men lost. He reminded me that I’d never have been born if he hadn’t made it out. I wouldn’t even exist. And that everything I would do after about 18 years old, would be things none of those boys would ever get to do. He wanted me to really feel that. To let that sadness be inside me, really deeply.
Adrienne: But based on what you’ve said so far, it sounds like there was another message for the rest of the day? After the cenotaph?
Scott: Yeah that’s where he really surprised me. Because he told me that it was important that I was not sad for the rest of the day, or the year. Because if we took the freedom that they paid for with their lives, and we spent our lives being sad, or angry, or if we complained all the time, then Dad saw that as the greatest dishonour to their sacrifice. He told me I had to find ways to create enough happiness and peace for me and for those boys who never got those years. And that I should do that for the whole year. He didn’t think any of them would be happy if they knew they’d died only for us to waste our time being miserable. The freedom they were fighting for was for our opportunities. So if we don’t use them to create happiness, or to enjoy life, or to feel rewarded by helping others, then they really died for nothing.
An interview I heard on CBC Radio yesterday. Scott McPherson's words resonated and I wanted to share them. An Interview I heard on CBC Radio yesterday. Scott McPherson's words resonated so I wanted to share them.
Adrienne: So, for your Dad, Remembrance Day is almost like New Year’s?
Scott: Yes! It’s a somber time. But one where we can use it to renew our commitment to leading a good life.
Adrienne: Do you find yourself remembering Remembrance Day well beyond November 11th?
Scott: I do. During the year, if I’m having a tough day and I’m whining about it, I’ll remember that I could be some terrified 18 year old in a mud-soaked, freezing trench, surrounded by fallen friends and exploding shells. That was a very real experience for way too many young people, on all sides of conflict. And that comparison, to whatever my problem is… the truth is, it always seems so pathetic that I can never hold onto it. A load of lost work on a computer can feel really maddening while it’s happening. But I just can’t suffer for long before some mindfulness has me remembering that I have a duty just like those soldiers did in WWII. So I imagine those men watching me whining. And I just feel pathetic. It really does feel like it’s hugely disrespectful, and that always helps me be more accepting of whatever’s going on. Then, I can go back to whatever I was doing, but I do it with a way better attitude.
Adrienne: So is there a way our listeners might be able to have Remembrance Day make their year better?
Scott: Yeah. The first thing we need to do during the services is to really think about what it would be like to be one of those people. Some time with the first few minutes of Saving Private Ryan can help bring that home for a lot of us. And then we have to re-remember that memory again when we’re feeling like life’s being too hard. And that can be tough to do. Because when we’re in pain, we often don’t want to be saved. We’ll often want to fight our way out if it. But we’ve got to go to this comparative thought instead. We have to remind ourselves of how bad life can really get. Because even when we’re unlucky, we’re generally still a lot luckier than the average trench in WWII. So as much as I’ll cry at the 11:11, at the cenotaph; for the rest of the year, we really do need to remember to enjoy our lives if we want to earnestly honour the sacrifices made by the people who’ve served on our behalf.

Resonably common and quite attractive heron encountered at most wet areas I visited in Florida. This one was photographed, against a too fussy background, at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Polk County. The reserve is on a former ranch and takes its name from the Brand of that ranch.

Isaiah 62:10
What Dale instructed about going out of our way to treat the Mainland Chinese well resonated within me. To be sure, just as the Koreans have gone out of their way to bless me so I must step out to bless and to love my Mainland brethren.
After the first meeting, Ed and I wandered off campus and found inside a shopping mall a cha chaan teng where we had a late-night snack. And hardly had we tucked into our meals when in walked several dozen volunteers, all locals, who were overcome, it seemed, by the same munchies that infected Ed and me. It’s surprising how such a primal urge, at such a time, drives everyone to no less than the same, impossibly far location.
I thus far have met so many people that, had I not brought along my iPod, I would have already lost track of the multitudinous names flying around like fireflies at night, sparkling luminously one moment and then disappearing the next. And this is only the beginning: more and more people will arrive both today and tomorrow so I had better stay awake, alert, and writing.
I am working with a partner who really challenges me, and indeed that is why I chose to work with him. From the first words that came streaming out of his mouth, I knew he would be a special one, and as if to conifrm my conjecture, indeed, the more he spoke, the more confused I became. The challenge, I have realized after much ruminating, isn’t so much the pace of his speech as his choice of words, which fall outside a normal lexical range; that is, at least with me, when he talks, he doesn’t use familiar collocations to communicate; besides, he has an uncanny Tin Shui Wai accent; those, along with his amazing resistance to Chinglish, which impresses me, by the way, have made our communication tedious, since I am bombarded by peculiar lexical constructions that I generally never encounter in Cantonese conversation and must therefore stop our flow to clarify his speech. It’s too bad that he doesn’t speak English as I would love to hear how he structures ideas in my native language to determine whether or not this strange lexis has spilled over into his other modes of communication.
Regardless, in being with him, I have learned to be patient, and if I am truly to walk away from resentment, I must continue rather to engage him than to keep him at arm’s length. It helps us, then, that he is a congenial fellow, prone more to expressing love, much in the same way that I do by warmly grabbing a forearm or a shoulder, than to venting his frustration, which with me could certainly be great. He is verily a good guy, and so long as the Lord keeps him — I am sure Daddy will — Tin Shui Wai, that small patch of concrete moon colony, is in capable, faithful human hands.

Not only so, but we rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
I cried this morning when I read these words, because they are true, and comfort my soul as water to a dry, parched land. However many times I’ve lamented this place and its people, I am still inextricably tied to this rock, per God’s will for my life; and God really is faithful in providing a way out not from this place but from these spiritual hindrances. These past few days, what with communication failures and fatigue setting in, I could have more easily give into my rationality, in defense of my weaknesses, than resisted this bait of satan. Thank God, hence, for the words which are like fuel for the refiner’s fire that burns up all my expectations, my pride and my flesh. I can survive, nay, rejoice, indeed, because of God, who, in me, day by day teaches me to suffer long with a smile.
This is what the gateway is all about, I believe: jumping head-first out of my comfort zone to confront the nations, for my brothers and sisters and I must face each other if we are to raise the banners together. Battling through enemy strongholds of mistrust ad resentment, we demolish carnal thoughts and dig deep in the Spirit for the unity that shall overcome as much language as culture; God, after all, is bigger, even, than the battlefield. In these ways can my brethren and I love each other as ourselves, as we shall be one in the Father, with audacious power and boldness laying hands on His kingdom which advances, in this kairos moment, over all of China, including, no doubt, Hong Kong. No longer will there be curses thrown upon the nations; but rather the river of life will flow through the city, and the leaves of the tree on each side of the river will be for the healing of the nations.

Isaac and I have worked quite hard this morning, putting up signs all over campus, and as if to reward me for my assiduity, he offered to buy me a drink, an offer which I took up. Indeed, this man’s care and concern for others, genuine, doubtlessly, fills me with joy, for, to be sure, the joy of the lord is his strength. My friend is indefatigable, always encouraging and never slighting, no matter the circumstances, rain (that has happened a lot today) or shine. Praise God!
Much like my relationship with Isaac, my relationships with my other team members have improved considerably since, even, this morning’s briefing during which, the code-switching, happening too fast and too furiously for my comfort, vexed me so terribly that if Isaac had not put a generous arm around my shoulder immediately afterwards, I surely would have blown my top in frustration at the perplexing language option. Thankfully, my team and I settled our language arrangements: Isaac, Dorcas and I will intractably speak Cantonese to each other whereas my other group mates and I will use English with as little code-switching as possible; and I, along with Ed, no doubt, am satisfied. It’s best to avoid misunderstandings.

The Lord’s mercies are new everyday. Just now, during the morning rally, by His Spirit, hundreds of brothers and sisters received a new anointing, to be spiritual mothers and fathers of a new generation so as to minister to the next. This outpouring of the Spirit was sudden, and so captivated me that when the call came to reap, I rushed to the front to ask my father for this anointing, and naturally, my life was transformed. In the same way, the pastor called up a new generation of spiritual children to receive the love, care and support of these new parents; and likewise, so many young men and women heeded this call that verily, the pit in front of the stage was soon awash in hugs and tears between generations that, once lost, were now found. Indeed, no sooner did these people embrace their father than Dad immediately swept them up in his strong arms and showered them with audacious encouragement and support. Praise God!
An Outburst
I was angry this morning during our team time. I temporarily lost my ability to be merciful and to live in God’s grace. When my team leader began to address me in English, yet again, I couldn’t help but berate him for doing so when Cantonese, I argued, would be a more economical medium of delivery. And then I compounded this already incendiary situation by ranting about the hypocrisy of Hong Kong being a gateway to China but not a gateway into its own neighborhoods teeming with Chinese people, 97% of whom, according to one of the pastors at this camp, do not know the Lord Jesus. Cantonese will matter, I posit, if anyone dares to take on the onerous mission in this vexing place.
To be sure, even my brother announced that language was a prohibitive barrier to closer relationships with these local people, and therefore, since he neither speaks Cantonese nor is going to give learning the language a go, he is relegated to the outer walls of the gates into Hong Kong.
In hindsight, I thought I cared enough about God’s purposes for me in Hong Kong, but I realize now that I still care a lot about myself, and resentment. Though I have prayed and declared boldly that God is bigger than language and culture, I know I don’t believe it; and that’s upsetting. For the time being, I don’t verily believe in my heart that I can have deeper, closer relationships with Chinese people without the benefit of language and culture, patterns of action.
OK. This is actually an opportune start for my spiritual parentship, for now I have an opportunity to put aside my very compelling arguments for the necessity of language and culture in deep and close relationships, these conclusions born out of my reason, and to step out in faith, to trust in the Lord who, I pray, will show me deep and close relationships sans language and culture, and with whom my deep and close relationship shall obviously be the key to this victory.
I’m thinking about events at this camp that heretofore demonstrated loving relationships without language and culture, and I recalled two acts: the first happened yesterday when I spontaneously joined a line of ushers to high-five and to cheer the audience as they flooded out of the auditorium, the morning rally having scarcely finished; and the second, this was my meeting Yao, a man from the Ivory Coast, whom I befriended in those first, fleeting, if not frantic moments before the opening rally on Friday evening. That encounter was immediate and sudden, neither words nor habits needed; Yao and I simply high-fived, hugged and sat beside each other; and wow, that was terrific companionship — praise God!
Finally, however hard my diatribe may have struck my team members’ hearts, my merciful group mates still forgave me, not only on an personal level, but also, as I had sought forgiveness on behalf of all foreigners who have ever cursed locals or stood passively outside the gateway, on a corporate level, thereby releasing countless non-Chinese people into the freedom of these Hong Kong people’s forgiveness; just as brothers and sisters had so recently been reconciled to each other in my church, so local and non-local people have received the others’ freedom of forgiveness; more than a homecoming, that, indeed, is a breakthrough.
In listening to this morning’s sermon, I hear such verses as I know God is speaking to me through His word. 2Corinthians 4:16-18, this scripture in particular carries a buoyant, hopeful currency in my heart. My spirit soaks in this divine revelation as a sponge soaks in water and thus becomes malleable, able to be formed and shaped according to its holder’s will: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Disagreeable
I don’t know why my brother and I undermine each others’ comments; why we no more know consensus than the deaf music. Our interactions have been especially abrasive recently since we have spent so much time together without the benefit of our other brother to act as a natural, vociferous buffer; and as a result we argue like pieces of sand paper being rubbed against flesh, which inevitably leads to significant soreness. I feel sore now.
I think back to my outburst this morning and can appreciate my role in this evening’s embarrassing outcome; I am certainly not without fault, for I choose these days not only to venture my opinions but to do so passionately, if not emotionally. People consequently who otherwise are phlegmatic at best are put in a discomfiting position by my impassioned pleas. Besides, I recall Interrupting my brother prolifically, which understandably would not make him a happy camper; just as a hyperactive child doesn’t know when to stop pestering his sibling, so I don’t know nowadays when to hold my tongue. Indeed, I would rather not respond at all to my brother, even after he has fired off his rejoinder, than to strike him down in mid-speech.
In view of this latest incident, I have resolved to take the former course of action. To be sure, I simply stopped our petty dispute about a stupid basketball game by, awkward as it was, taking out my book and perusing it as fixedly as my tattered mind would allow. I will try my best to stay away from my brother for a spell, to create physical and spiritual space between us, so hopefully, in this way at least one of us will be able to come to his senses about this matter; better yet, now would be an opportune time for our father in his mercy to reveal to us the fault lines in our flesh so that we could surrender these tremulous spots in our soul, crucifying them to the father for our healing and the redemption of our relationship. I will pray about this.
…Praise God. If I had not separated myself from my brother’s presence, I wouldn’t have been sitting at that bench at the exact moment when Isaac came over to me in a plaintive mood. Obviously upset, he had been so recently wronged, he lamented on the verge of tears. And at that, mercy swept over my countenance, for my brother felt as aggrieved as I did earlier; and this appointment, per God’s unfailing, obstinate love, had at last come for me, convicting me to be very, very agreeable, sympathetic and kind to my fellow long-suffering brother. In this instance, thank God, language did not matter so much as empathy, carrying each others’ burdens and thus fulfilling the rule of Christ. We prayed and blessed each other in Jesus’ name, and then boldly went forward into the rally.
I suspect the enemy has infiltrated our team what with my outbursts and Isaac’s failing out as evidence. My group mates and I must be more vigilant in prayer and in digging deep into the Father’s word if we are to overcome the spies in our camp that have planted incendiary devices in our mouths and in our hearts. We certainly need such encouragement as the Lord provides for the edification and encouragement of each other, even more so, in fact, in the face of adversity, despite our fatigue and other physical ills that befall us like a hail of arrows. In faith, I’m sure, faith will see us through; and per what the pastors exhorted at the rally, we will become as if the smooth stone in David’s sling, ready to fly into the air to crush the Goliath in this world.

The Security Guard
At the morning rally, a security guard left an indelible impression on my heart what with her showing of unconditional support and her proffering of words of encouragement, which like a waterfall fell in force and power over my friends and me. To my amazement, I first saw her out of the corner of my eye stepping out of her role as a security guard to pray as a spiritual parent to two spiritual children during the morning rally’s prayer time; there she was, clad in her blue uniform, laying hands on those weeping kids; finally, I had witnessed someone courageous enough to step out of that rule of law, her boundary in Hong Kong, to be bound to that which is ethereal, the rule of Christ to carry each others’ burdens. Later, as the audience passed through the exit, I had time to confirm her love for the Lord and at that, we broke into a torrent of encouragement and followed this with a flurry of picture-taking. Indeed, never have I stumbled upon such good will from a dragon security guard in HK so I am hopeful, therefore, that this is but the the start of a greater movement within that particular demon-worshipping core, that at this time, God is opening up the heavenly armory and placing his prayer warriors inside that particular stronghold in Hong Kong to demolish every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and placing in its stead a profusion of love, gentleness and kindness. I look forward to the day when wisdom, and not languid stares, shall emanate from all the people who man the facilities in these universities.
Reconciliation
This is special. No sooner had Isaac and I stepped into the auditorium than we heard the plaintive cry of the mainland Chinese on the stage forgiving the Hong Kong people for their trespasses against their brethren from the north. A flurry of hugs, replete with a few tears, ensued. That was, as Dale announced from the stage, a delicious moment. Jesus must have been breaking out the good champagne in heaven for a rousing celebration in view of this victory.
Sex Talk – Part One
The kids finally received the sex talk this morning; a fiery pastor delivered the message which was as much shocking as informative; and gasps and wincing abounded in the audience.
While I have recently heard the sex talk at the men’s retreat, and have furthermore by God’s grace been inoculated against this particular area of struggle, it was nonetheless refreshing to hear the news, as shocking and as sensational as it was. I am willing, in addition, to believe that some of the atrocious acts that the pastor referenced, such as gruesome abortions and bizarre sexual acts, are more prevalent than my reason will believe, because my scope is limited by experience, but as the Father witnesses everything, if the Spirit has convicted this man and has told him that the world is heading closer and closer into the mouth of Jezebel in this way, I accept this. In fact, believing this is important if I am to be a good spiritual parent who will not only protect but educate the new generation from the prowling enemy that lurks these days, even, in our computers.
Prayer
The Holy Spirit fell over me this morning during my group’s team time. He convicted me to pray in Cantonese for the first time, and so I did without fear, those Chinese words pouring out of me as if perfume from an alabaster jar. Praise God: he is good; and this was the moment I have been waiting for.
I think about what happened, and am amazed at the Father’s favor; despite my critiques against this culture, and in spite of my recent lamentations, the Lord, ever faithfully, provided a way out under which I could stand and by which I could be protected from the bait of Satan. Little did I know that the escape route would, in fact, ironically, direct me to the very thing that heretofore has stood as an obstruction, a spiritual roadblock, in my mind.
A missionary on the stage just spoke into my life when she said about her experience learning Putonghua in China: the difficult part was not learning the language but learning to love those people as Jesus loves them. This will always be my mission, no matter where I am.

In the afternoon, my team had a reconciliation meeting during which, in small groups, each team member at last was given an opportunity to share alternately their joys and struggles. At that time, though having staved off an open rebuke for several days, I could no longer hold back this challenge to my small group: to step out in faith to be a gateway to the nations; and second, per the morning’s message, to on their guard against the sexually explicit, insidious media. I laid out my argument with much cogency, and such a response as I saw fit knocked my group mates into a stupor, because they certainly didn’t have much to say afterwards.

Sex Talk – Part Two
1) Jesus came to show us the Father; John1:18
2) Grace First, Truth Second; John 1:24:25; 16-18
Pahn4 mohng6 (hope)
Do you believe that Jesus can heal you? Then lay hands.
Dale and I are men who have shared similar struggles. His testimony is riveting.
Suddenly, I realized that this rally is, in fact, a continuation of yesterday morning’s sex talk, because we ended the previous rally praying more against the shame of abortion than against personal sexual immorality. Notionally, what is being discussed will enable people to really experience the love of the Father such that to change permanently our behavior. So when we are tempted:
1) Call for help; Romans 10:13
2) Escape Plan; 1Corinthians 10:13
Remember not to stand and rebuke the enemy with your own strength; move physically from the situation.
3) Run Away; 2Timothy 2:22
4) Into the Father’s Arms; Hebrews 4:14
I like this talk. This might be the first time that these young people get straight sex talk from their leaders; and there is no better time than now for these young people to break through in this particular area of struggle, just as the young men of SP broke through these obstinate barriers during our men’s retreat.
5) Confess and be Healed; James 5:16
I hope these young people find faithful accountability brothers and sisters in this service.
6) Walk in Transparent Accountable Relationships; 1John 1:7
7) Resist the Enemy; James 4:7

Day 25 of 40
Morning was still and silent. After photographing sunrise, I made myself breakfast. As I was eating, the click-clack of carbide tipped hiking poles and boots upon rocks broke the silence mingled with the sound of breathing. Looking up I saw a lone backpacker pass by my campsite from a distance, he rounded the lake and continued over the horizon. He never saw me and not a word was spoken. Then the silence returned.
After packing up I took one last picture of Cotton Lake, one that surpassed the photos I got of the alpine glow. flic.kr/p/SV5TK3
Then, I began hiking, I rounded the lake following the route the other backpacker had taken. The meadowlands became lightly forested. The few trees then dissolved into glacier polished, slab covered mountainside. Dark clouds moved in and filled the bowl of the sky; a gentle breeze rose up and the scent of rain danced upon the air. In the valley below me lay a meadow (named Horse Heaven, 9680, on my map) surrounded by thick forest, hewn in two by Fish Creek snaking through the middle, glinting in rays of sun that spilled though a hole in the clouds. flic.kr/p/SRPBgL
The glacial polished slabs were smooth and slippery, even when dry. I tried to find a route down the slabs that mostly avoided the smooth, shiny sections where a slip was guaranteed. The clouds were struggling to rain, and I got a few brief moments of sprinkles, but none of it lasted. Then off in the distance, a faint, low rumble of thunder resonated, fully and deeply within the granite landscape.
As I navigated the slabs, forest once again closed in, this time thicker than before. The slabs became steeper and more broken, until the slabs ended and soil and pine needles took their place with a few boulders strewn about.
I then reached a gorge with a babbling creek flowing through it. I walked along the edge looking for a way down to the bottom. Upstream from me, a waterfall cascaded down over multiple levels. I worked my way towards it, still looking for a way down to the creek. I finally found a place that provided an easy, safe climb down, but I still had to use all four limbs.
Once at the bottom, I crossed the creek and followed it downstream towards the meadow. I wove my way between trees, through ferns and flowers and around thorny goose berry bushes, snacking on their berries as I went. The pine trees gathered thicker the further downstream I traveled. Then out of the random chaos of trees appeared order; the trees grew up arranged in a circle, the ground cleared of all vegetation in the middle.
Here I stopped, I dropped my pack, sat down in the middle of the circle and took a moment to meditate. Time slowed down and a deeper peace fell over me. The nearby creek murmured, a breeze whispered through the branches, a few more brief moments of rain fell gently upon my skin and a second distant low rumble of thunder rolled.
Then in that moment inspiration struck, I pulled out my notebook and wrote:
...
The Sacred Grove
The ancient elders gather
Encircled in a sacred grove
Rain falls entwined with thunder
Roots below, branches above
The murmuring creek, the whispering wind
Ancient wisdom spoken
For those who know how to listen
...
After writing that down I took a little more time to sit and take in the energy of the place. Then I stood back up, put my pack back on, thanked the trees and continued on my way.
Not long after leaving the "sacred" grove behind, the gorge opened and the trees spilled out into a flat open area, then they suddenly ended. I crossed the tree line and entered into the meadow called Horse Heaven. The creek I was following slowed down and spread out into many rivulets, lazily drifting their way over to merged with Fish Creek. Wild onions lined the creek, their wonderful sent wafting to my nose. I pick some to munch on now and tie a bundle to my pack for later. I also refilled my water bottles.
Navigating my way across the many rivulets while trying to keep my shoes dry was nearly impossible, so I decided to just take them off and path-find barefoot. The soft, cushiony grass and cool flowing water felt refreshing on my feet. Once I reach the far side of the meadow and crossed Fish Creek a trail appeared. Here I put my shoes back on and followed the trail on a northwesterly route back into the forest on the opposite side from where I entered the meadow.
A bit later I reached a camping area and a group of people. They had entered at McGee Creek trailhead a few days ago, and had just come over McGee Pass. They asked me about the onions tied to my pack and I offered them some, but only one of them was adventurous enough to try one. After saying goodbye and happy trails I continued on.
A short distance later another meadow opened up on the right side of the trail, this one is called Tully Hole. On the far end of Tully Hole this trail merged with the Pacific Crest and John Muir Trails (9520). From here I took the right fork and began climbing long switchbacks up towards Lake Virginia. As I climbed higher the gentle breeze grew stronger, gusting fiercely, becoming a rushing, roaring wind, that with each breath whipped the grasses bordering the trail and the branches of the trees that lined a creek that tumbled down from above. The clouds began to break, and where now rolling across the sky with their shadows chasing after them. This section of trail was heavily traveled and I came across many interesting people.
(I can now retire my Mono Divide map and begin using my Ansel Adams Wilderness map.)
Once I reached the top of the switchbacks the terrain leveled out and the trail took a pretty direct route to Lake Virginia (10338). The gusting wind was now blowing steadily and the large lake was covered in white caps, with foamy waves lapping the shore. After crossing a creek that flowed into the northeastern end of the lake I turned right, leaving the trail behind. I was once again cross-countying. I made my way between two mountains navigating through the hilly terrain between them. I passed a few small lakes and then pasted through an area littered with obsidian flakes, the shiny, black volcanic glass glinting in the sun, a remnant of ancient Paiute or Mono peoples that frequented this area, either as a seasonal home or as hunting grounds. Then I reach the first of the Glennette Lakes. Here I rested, and ate my last spoonful of peanut butter.
There is a mountain rising to my south whose summit is not on the Ansel Adams Wilderness map nor the Mono Pass map. I can see a patch of snow beneath its peak, half hidden behind a glacial bowl. It appears that there might be some interesting photo opportunities up there, so I have decided to climb up and see.
I left my pack where I rested and made my way towards the peak. The climb started on talus, then turned to slabs, then went back to talus. flic.kr/p/SXhNdS I could hear a stream of melt water flowing beneath the large jagged blocks. Hearing it made me hopeful that when I reached the bowl there would be a pond beneath a large snow patch or glacier with the towering peak looming over it. That would make an excellent photo, especially during alpine glow. When I reached the rim of the glacial bowl and gazed down into its heart, I was disappointed to see just more talus.
For whatever reason going down made the talus blocks way more unstable. There was one block, the size of a large tractor tire, that I gently touched with my foot to test its stability and it gave way; slowly at first as it slid over the polished block beneath it, then as it cleared that one it picked up speed as it started tumbling downhill, dislodging others as it went. The sound of granite on granite reverberated and a large cloud of dust billowed up. It was now a full-fledged rock slide. The rock that started it all hit another large, immovable boulder and with a loud distinct crack, split in two. Finally, they all came to rest upon the slabs below, but the echoes continued to bounce around for a few more seconds. I’m so glad I tested it first before putting all my weight on it. Now I’m not sure I want to continue down, I think I’ll just stay here... Carefully and slowly, I worked my way down, testing the stability of each boulder before I put weight on it. After the first one I caused a few more rock slides until I eventually reached the slabs. Beautiful stable slabs. I climb the rest of the way down following the sound of the water trickling beneath the talus until it broke through onto the surface. I followed the creek the rest of the way back to my gear.
I continued on my way to where I was going to spend the night and as I occasionally do while hiking I turned around to look back at where I had just been to see things from a different perspective and to see if there might be a good photo. This time as I turned around I saw a shadowy figure peering out from behind a rock watching me. It was not a backpacker because there were no features on it as it was only a dark, black mass and it was not an animal because it had a humanoid shape. As soon as I saw it, the spirit ducked back behind the rock. At this point a shiver ran down my spine and all my hairs stood on end.
I then said to the spirit, “I'm here, I mean no offense. What do you want?”
Then a wind picked up and on the breath of breeze I heard a word whispered in my ear, “Aho.”
It was spoken in an airy, wispy voice as wind would speak it but I heard it as clearly as though a person where standing next to me.
I was not sure what to make of it and I still had that uneasy feeling of being watched, so I quickly continued onward in the direction of Ram Lake.
The sun was sinking lower in the sky and sunset was drawing nearer. I worked my way through rolling meadows and meandering creeks and around the multiple Glen and Glennette Lakes. Finally, the sun sank behind the saw-toothed ridge that separated this basin from Duck and Pika Lake. I picked a spot on soft grass near a small "U" shaped pond with fish jumping, to set up camp. I never made it to Ram Lake but I really liked this spot. While I still had some time before the cloak of night descended I tried fishing, but once again I had no luck. I had one more night after this on trail before my next and final resupply and I had some extra meals so I decided to eat one instead of my usual Cliff Bar for dinner.
As I ate the sky darkened and the stars came out. The temperature was dropping quickly so I layered up. After eating I took a quick photo of the peak I climbed earlier when I caused the rock slide, as it still glowed in a faint pale light. Then, I crawled into my sleeping bag, beneath a million stars.
...
A year after I had finished this journey I went to the town of Bishop, California to visit the Paiute reservation's museum and visitor center to see if there was someone I could talk to about the encounter I had had at the Glennette Lakes. I was directed to Qwina who owns the only martial art studio in town and his wife, Irma, who runs a healing center out of the same building. I arrived there after the sun had set and while a Kenpo Karate class was going on in the background I spoke to him about what I had seen and heard while we sipped some home grown rose hip and elder berry herbal tea.
Qwina told me it was not uncommon for wilderness travelers to see spirits up in the high mountains, but most of the encounters were usually negative ones because the human would take an artifact that they had found. He told me of one particular time his wife, Irma, the Healer, had met with this one guy who had a large artifact sitting on his desk that he was very proud of. The guy had a broken leg and was experiencing a series of unfortunate events.
The first question that Irma asked him was, “Well, when did you break your leg?”
“The same day I found this.” He said pointing to the artifact on his desk.
She recommended that he return the artifact.
The first question he asked me was, what was I doing before I saw the spirit. I told him that I had just passed through the obsidian field and had climbed up the mountain and about the rock slides I had created on my way down.
He asked me again what word I had heard and I said, “Aho.”
“Aho” he repeated mulling over it. “Aho means a few things. First it means, 'Hey Man, Alright.' As in being accomplished in something. Second, its used when meeting a stranger, as in 'Oh, there you are.' So taking into context what you had been doing before you saw it, the spirit was either saying, 'Hey man, alright you made it down safe.' The other thing is that it might have been lonely because not many people go through that area and those that do probably never respond to it like you did by speaking to it, so it was basically saying, 'Oh, there you are' which is the same as saying, 'hey whats up'. But in this instance it could mean both.”
I thanked Qwina for the translation and Irma for the tea, then I headed to Keough Hot Springs for a soak before going to sleep in my car.

What resonates with me? Light color and lines. I walked into my friends green house and saw the amazing lines that were running up and down the leaves on this Cali Lillie plant. They were making the most beautiful designs. Told her I had to have that to take home and photograph. All the way home I kept looking at it wondering where to begin. The Next day when I got ready to photograph the lillie I notice it was weeping. Each leaf had a tear drop hanging from the end of the it. I shot several images but this is the one I chose to post. If you look at the right hand side of the image the leaves are cut off but your eye automatically completes the curve. I also like the earthy colors and grainy texture. (Would have liked to have a sharper tear drop but didn't have a tripod available)

Most viewed image exceeds 300,000 views Numerology is naturally an interest that occurs during awakening because many individuals will find themselves starting to see repeated numerological sequences over and over, sometimes even to the point where these numbers begin to haunt them. The most common being 11:11 however the more you notice the more you see, numbers such as 12:34, 111, 1:33, 333, 444, 555, etc. begin to follow you everywhere you go. Many people believe they are simply “Angelic Numbers” or “Messages from the Angels” but in truth Numerology is a very complex system. Each number corresponds to the system of the Kabbalah and the Tarot. The way to understand each of the numerological sequences you have to study the tree of life, archetypes, geometry and various symbolism throughout ancient history. Each number is a point on the dimensional plane of the system of the mind. Numerology works in a way that triggers a subconscious archetypal response within your long term memory all going right back to processing numbers like a futuristic computer. Carl Jung has studied this concept of subconscious triggers extensively within his work such as Man and His Symbols. They are essentially mind relapse triggers that influence our long term memory and change our DNA. You could say they’re “upgrades” but what they are doing is triggering your subconscious mind into the act of remembrance of who you are. What does seeing Numerology such as 11:11, 12:34, 1:11, 3:33… mean to me?
In reality while there is much symbolism behind each number, the true meaning all comes down to what resonates with you most. They could be said these are “Codes” that unlock our dna strands and awaken old memories of who we used to be but they are honestly a trigger like a talisman. 11:11 is by far the most common as well as 111,222,333,444,555, etc. Any of the master numbers can/will start showing up repeatedly denoting a particular sequential message. It’s always good to pay attention to your thoughts at the particular time you see the number or look at what you are doing. Being conscious of our surroundings, what we’re doing or what is around us at the time such as a symbol can sometimes help to figure out the meaning behind the message of the number.
There are various theories out there for why numbers are displaying a particular message. Some of these include:
Binary DNA Activation – Reality is composed from numbers, our mind is similar to a computer which relies on binary codes (1’s and 0’s). These Numbers such as 11:11 are working as a form of binary that activates your dormant (junk) DNA.
11:11 Gateway/Portal – Also known as Stargates, 10.10. 10. 11.11.11 12.12.12 These are astrological alignments that are created during a specific date in time. They are most known for being an Energetic Gateway for others to Awaken and also known to create energetic shifts. It could also signify that “11:11 is the doorway between two worlds – between the 3rd dimensional and the 5th dimensional worlds” [ref]In5d All About 11:11[/ref]
Making a Wish – Many Teenagers used to play the game “make a wish it’s 11:11”, perhaps their subconscious knew more than they did about this mysterious phenomena.
Life Path Numbers – Life Path numbers are a different form of numerology but are connected to Symbolic interpretation. They are found by adding your birth date and birth year together into a single digit.
Angel or Spirit Guide Messages – The more popular theory by Doreen Virtue that Numerology is basically messages from your angels or spirit guides trying to communicate with you. These messages include similar sayings such as “you are on the right direction of your spiritual path” or “stay positive, you have nothing to fear in regards to your soul purpose”
Fibonacci Sequence/Golden Ratio – Our reality is made around the Golden Ratio even our bodies are composed from the beautiful sequence of Phi, perhaps the numbers are simply reminding us of who we are?
Global Consciousness – Cosmic consciousness, sometimes people just simply think that these numbers are here to tell us we are connected to one another.
Wake Up Call – The most popular interpretation, Wake up call to GLOBAL AWAKENING. Numerology is mainly noticed by people who are going through the process of a Spiritual/ Kundalini Awakening. These numbers could simply mean you are on the right track and they signify your own Awakening Journey.
Since Numerology is linked to archetypal symbolism, the most direct interpretation will always be the symbolic representation of the Number itself. The numbers are there to guide us but the most powerful meaning is the one you put in front of the symbol. What resonates with you?

Zero
Zero is a powerful number which brings great transformational change, sometimes occurring in a profound manner. It has much intensity, so caution is needed wherever it appears to ensure that extremes are not encountered.
Zero represents the Cosmic Egg, the primordial Androgyne – the Plenum. Zero as an empty circle depicts both the nothingness of death and yet the totality of life contained within the circle. As an ellipse the two sides represent ascent and descent, evolution and involution.
Before the One (meaning the Source—not the number) there is only Void, or non-being; thought; the ultimate mystery, the incomprehensible Absolute. Begins with meanings such as, Non-existence; nothingness; the unmanifest; the unlimited; the eternal. The absence of all quality or quantity.

Three (3). The third dimension – we do things in threes so they will manifest in our physical realm. It’s roots stem from the meaning of multiplicity. Creative power; growth. Three is a moving forward of energy, overcoming duality, expression, manifestation and synthesis. Three is the first number to which the meaning “all” was given. It is The Triad, being the number of the whole as it contains the beginning, a middle and an end. The power of three is universal and is the tripartide nature of the world as heaven, earth, and waters. It is human as body, soul and spirit. Notice the distinction that soul and spirit are not the same. They are not. Three is birth, life, death. It is the beginning, middle and end. Three is a complete cycle unto itself. It is past, present, future. The symbol of three is the triangle. Three interwoven circles or triangles can represent the indissoluble unity of the three persons of the trinity. Others symbols using three are: trident, fleur-de-lis, trefoil, trisula, thunderbolt, and trigrams. The astral or emotional body stays connected to the physically body for three days after death. There is scientific evidence that the brain, even when all other systems are failing takes three days to register complete shutdown. There are 3 phases to the moon. Lunar animals are often depcited as 3 legged.
Three is the heavenly number, representing soul, as four represents body. Together the two equal seven (3+4=7 ) and form the sacred hebdomad. The 3×4=12 representing the signs of the Zodiac and months of the year. Pythagorean three means completion. The number 3 gives to the meaning the embracing Godhead – Father, Mother, Son/Daughter. Egyptian: Hermetic tradition, Thoth is the Thrice Great, ‘Trismegistus’. The Supreme Power. The opening line of the Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean. Tablet 11
Three is the mystery, come from the great one, Hear, and light on thee will dawn. In the primeval dwell three unities,Other than these none can exist. These are the equilibrium, source of creation,One God, One Truth, One Point of Freedom.Three come forth from the three of the balance, All Life, all Good, all Power.Three are the qualities of God in his light-home Infinite Power, Infinite Wisdom, Infinite Love. Three are the circles (or states) of Existence: The Circle of Light where dwells nothing but God, and only God can traverse it, The Circle of Chaos where all things by nature arise from Death, The Circle of Awareness where all things spring from Life. All things animate are of three states of existence, Chaos or death, liberty in humanity, and felicity of Heaven. There is an ancient wisdom that’s says; ‘Messages or events that come in three’s are worth noticing. ‘Whenever anything is mentioned three times it is a witness to us that these things are of utmost importance. Three symbolizes manifestation into the physical. It is the triangle – pyramid shape in the vesica pisces – see image below. The TV Show ‘Charmed’ deals the ‘Power of Three Sister Witches’, known as the Charmed Ones. Their job is to vanquish evil forces in their many forms and sometimes non-forms. knot The symbol to the side, called a Triquetra (tri-KET a Latin word meaning ‘three cornered’) appears on The Book Of Shadows.an ancient book of spells that assists these ‘Charmed Ones’ in dealing with the evil forces they are continually encountering. In some episodes so called evil and good must work together to bring balance to a situation. They cancel each other out in the end – poof – gone – disappeared! ‘Power of Three’ has to do with Alchemy. The Egyptian god Thoth or the Greek Hermes Trismegistus (Thrice Blessed or Thrice Great) are the progenitors of the Emerald Tablets describing the mysteries of Alchemy. The alchemy of three is demonstrated by its power of multiplicity. For example, in understanding the numbers – One gave rise to Two (1+1=2) and Two gave Rise to Three (2+1=3) and Three gave rise to all numbers (3+1=4, 3+2=5, 3+3=6, 3+4=7, 3+5=8 3+6=9). Thus in addition to being a number of good fortune, Three is also the number of multiplicity and alchemy among other things. Many believe the Triquetrais an ancient symbol of the female trinity, because it is composed of three interlaced yonic Vesica Pisces (a.k.a. PiscisSLatin for “Vessel of the Fish”) and is the most basic and important construction in Sacred Geometry, which is the architecture of the universe.
A Vesica is formed when the circumference of two identical circles each pass through the center of the other in effect creating a portal. ‘The Triquetra’ represents the ‘Power of Three’ or the threefold nature of existence i.e. body, mind and spirit; life, death and rebirth; past, present and future; beginning, middle and end; Sun, Moon and Earth; and the threefold co-creative process described as thought, word, and deed. Sphere=ovum Vesica Pisces – Oval opening of the penis The creation process as described in the Vedas is unfolding, maintaining, and concluding as in birth, life and death. There are innumerable trinities and triads throughout myth and religious traditions, such as the triple goddess; maiden, mother, crone. One example in Greek mythology is Kore, Demeter, Hecate. The Christian trinity is Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Vedic trinities include Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with their consorts Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali to name just a few. Graeco-Roman: Sacred to Apollo, whose lyre has seven strings, and to Athene/Minerva and Ares/Mars; Pan had seven pipes (again a reference to seven musical notes and frequency); there seven Wise Men of Greece. Hebrew tradition: Seven is the number of occult intelligence. There are seven Great Holy Days in the Jewish year; the Menorah has seven branches; the Temple took seven years to build; and there are seven pillars of wisdom. Hinduism there are Seven Jewels of the Brahmanas and seven gods before the floods and seven Wise Men saved from it. Islamic: The perfect number is seven. In Islamic tradition there are references to seven: heavens climates earths and seas
colors prophets (active powers) states or stations of the heart The Ka’aba is circumambulated seven times representing the seven attributes of God. Magic: There are seven knots in a cord for “spellbinding” and incantations are sevenfold. Certain orders of Brotherhood use theme of tying seven knots in their rope sash worn around their waist. Mithraic: The cave of Mithras has seven doors, seven altars, and a ladder with seven rungs depicting the seven grades of initiation into the mystery schools. Pythagorean: Seven is a cosmic number with three of heaven and four of the world. Sumero-Semitic: There are seven lunar divisions and days of the week. “Thou shalt shine with horns to determine six days and on the seventh with half a crown.”, the seventh thus becomes opposition to the sun and symbolizes darkness and balefulness and therefore is dangerous to undertake anything on the seventh day because that is the day of rest. We can see here the influence of this belief in other religious contexts. There are seven zones of earth; heavens, symbolized by the planes of ziggurat. There are seven branches to the Tree of Life each having seven leaves. Leaves are symbols of fertility, renewal and growth. There are seven gates of hell, seven demons of Tiamat and seven winds to destroy her—-interesting to note that in many belief systems it is said that the astral plane has seven levels to it—one sound on one of those levels is “wind”.
Seven is a mystic number traditionally associated with Venus and more recently with Neptune. It is the number of feelings and of instincts – of the Group Mind, of Love, whether that strange, indescribable but pervasive feeling of love is towards another person, a pet, oneself or one’s God. ‘Love’ embodies tremendous sexual energy, the emotions of which may be directed in various ways.

the sound of this waterfall hitting those rocks was so resonating, so thunderous that i was actually a bit intimidated to walk in the cave behind it.
i "felt" this falls before i could even see it.
and this, friends, is my favorite part~that part where water connects fiercely w/ rock.
and everything that is a constant~is undone...
