Using only the title and not the description of the theme (sorry) I resolve this simple quadratic equation.

I have a feeling that in these days many people realize what is really important in their lives. Now make a resolve and follow it up!

Time rolls

As days go by

And now I've figured

That I ain't gonna last

Summer skies

Are leaving me behind

So resolve your loving said all

I'll be lost when you're gone

Blind me from keep

Blind me

Times told

As days go by

I still ponder this old question why

But now I know

There's no time to decide

So resolve your loving said all

I'll be lost when you're gone

Blind me from keep

Blind me

And daylight knows

How my eyes have tired

Like the circles

Life evermore will bear

So resolve your loving said all

I'll be lost when you're gone

Blind me from keep

Blind me

Hot, overcast, and stormy all day long, but the sun did make a brief experience late this afternoon much like what we experienced when we visited the Upper Terrace at Mammoth Hot Springs this past winter. Between the gray skies, snow covered trees, hoar frost, and steam from all the thermal features, it was truly a surreal experience...if you haven't visited in the winter, it's highly recommended :-)

Enjoy the rest of your evening and have a great Sunday....thanks for all your visits & support!!!!!

The Guildford Council Chambers were reconstructed from a 1900s building. Parts of the wall and stable still stand. An air raid shelter was created by strengthening one room, during World War II. This area remains today and is currently used as the 'strong room'. It has a lowered cement ceiling, cement floor and double brick walls.

Guildford Town Hall and Library, incorporating the Guildford Town Hall, a brick, rendered brick and tile building constructed in 1937 in the Inter-War Art Deco style, and the Guildford Library (former Council Chambers) a brick, rendered brick and zincalume-roofed building built in 1900 and remodelled in 1937 to complement the Town Hall, has cultural heritage significance for the following reasons: The place contains particularly well resolved examples of civic buildings designed or remodelled in the Inter-War Art Deco style. The Guildford Town Hall is a fine example of a town hall designed in this style in the 1930s in Western Australia; The place is a significant example of the work of Eales, Cohen and Fitzhardinge Architects, and in particular of John Fitzhardinge who is credited with the Interwar design and redesign of the two buildings; The place is a visual landmark in its prominent location in the centre of the historic Town of Guildford; The place is representative of the development of local government in the City of Swan region and incorporates civic buildings which represent the growth of local government in the early and mid twentieth century in the State generally. The place forms an integral component of community life in the local government area; and, The car park has the potential through archaeological excavation to provide information on the former convict depot use of the site. The more recent southern end of the outbuilding, eastern entry and covered walkway to the Library, kitchen and other recent fittings to the Town Hall and electrical fittings to the Library are of little cultural heritage significance. The brick wall in the female toilets of the Town Hall and lobby inside the original northern entrance of the Library are intrusive. Plantings of little or no significance are noted in the Conservation Plan.

We resolve to spend more time playing and less time listening. Wait! More time listening and less time playing. We resolve to meet Papa at the door like he is the best thing on plant earth. Wait! He is the best thing on earth. We resolve to only eat food which is in OUR bowls and nothing off the kitchen counter. We resolve to get Mama and Papa out for more walks into town, more runs through the fields and more time at the beach. We resolve to love unconditionally. Happy New Year!!

I like to post this poem each year at this time . . .

Resolved

Shall we be even more bold this next year?

More brave and adventurous than last year?

Take more chances?

Risk more?

Shoot for the moon?

Bet the ranch?

Is this the year to go for glory?

Seize the day, the month, the actual year?

Carpe diem, mensis, annum?

Can we ask Lady Luck to visit?

Smile upon us?

End her long holiday elsewhere

and pay attention to our hopes?

Our wishes?

Our dreams?

Or is it better to go it alone?

Impertinent?

Cheeky and audacious to carve out our own good fortune?

Give the Lady leave?

Write her out of the story?

Shall we plot a tale of great adventure?

Leave nothing to chance?

Shall we grab life by the horns?

Of course we shall

We will step boldly

Unbowed

Resolute

Determined

Resilient

And Lady Luck can come along for the ride

If she wishes

The New Year was approaching, and as the clock ticked in the background marking the last minutes of the year, they felt they had to resolve the situation.

The tea pot was just too big for their small appartment. Aunt N. never could pick a good gift.

Responding to the other photo www.flickr.com/photos/ericymt/23389350926/in/datetaken-pu... posted a month ago, now the mystery has been resolved.

The first encounter with the dragonfly this year, which I believe is a kind of kawatonbo(lit.river-dragonfly). The color of the wings attracted my attention.

Dragonfly was respected a bringer of good luck by the samurai(blademen, men who belonged to a high-ranking social class of warriors) because it only moves forwards. It was necessary for them to have unyielding resolve.

P.S. This turned out to be miyamakawatonbo, which is a damselfly as Ennor kindly taught me. When I looked up into the dictionary I knew that the damselfly had two names, that is, ito-tonbo and kawa-tonbo. Both of them are called tombo(dragon) they are actually damselflies.

Cold water sobers a mind and dampens resolve.

Do you remember the day you woke up?

Today's paper says it all -- the massive cleanup after Jonas (aka "Snowzilla") is going to stretch out for a while. Time for Netflix and a Scotch.

Day 25 of my 366 Project

None of the flies in my photos are frozen or dead. None have been manually 'posed'. All are alive and well in their natural environment.
