I don't normally do New Year's resolutions but I am determined to take more better photos this year.

First real use of my new macro lens. good low sun light negating the need for flash. Despite the cold my subject was just too mobile for any stacking!

My country, my home, Sweet Jamaica. 50 years ago I was there, and now, 50 years later I still feel the joy and warmth that was present through my tokens. And no one will ever take for granted what we fought to gain, as the proof is right here.

I thought you might want to see a few photos from the Countdown to Change House Party in Richmond this past weekend. We had a great turnout (15 people) and raised over $200! It was really inspiring to meet other Obama supporters and realize how dedicated we all are to helping him create positive change.

It turned out to be great weather for today's Resolution 10k up at the racecourse after it got cancelled 2 weeks ago, nice to see so many familiar faces and well done to everyone taking part , did I mention I got a PB ..
