The pod. Resistor under the tape on bottom, metal body contact on top, led on front, battery contact on back. The thing sticking out the front is the glass magnetic reed switch.
Helpfully all the screws that hold the dashboard together are the same size and everything goes back together really easily. Back together in 15 minutes!

The inexpensive way to enjoy macro is reversing the lens. All you need to have is some talent in focusing. Told ya, its not easy. This is the best image I got so far. =)
Current sense circuit close up.
This was a really stupid moment of mine, If you look you can see my "sense resistor" which was meant to be 0.18 ohms, So I thought
1/R1 + 1/R2 and used 1/10 and 1/12 to make 0.18, forgetting its 1/RT.
Forgot to flip it at the end so actually made something like 5 ohms.
