It is starting to peel at the top and the bottom: It is just about getting to be time to repaint this.
I feel that we ought to just go ahead and paint over the glass block window.

Film from the giant exposed stash in my fridge. I shot a ton of film over the summer of 2011, and had very little of it developed. This is the first of many mystery rolls.

Sadism, violence, lying, theft, and blackmail are rampant in local police departments in the U.S. I'd like to see a local newschannel focussed on investigative journalism.

This was at a McDonalds in South Jersey where we'd stopped to use the bathroom. As we were preparing to leave a group of teenage boys came out of the restaurant. One of them got on the motorcyle and drove off.
All by itself, this sign isn't particularly unusual or interesting, but if you know it is in Lunenburg, the home of the historic schooner, Bluenose II, that's a different matter. Now the Bluenose II is important enough to have its own parking space, but in a car park?
Fuji XE-1 with adapted Vivitar 28mm f2.8 fd mount lens. Picture was taken in the Bricktown area of Oklahoma City. It was very close to the site of the federal building that was attacked by Timothy Mcveigh in 1995.
With autos parked all around it!, and a salmon paint area.

Up on Terminal 4 - Parking 8 - this one spot about 15 spots west of the east end (facing South). Didn't look like work was needed on the ceiling or on the edge. Maybe just the parking supervisor's favorite spot to take their lunch break?
This is the sign outside my parking space (well, it's not reserved for me, but I'm usually the last of the cars allowed to park here to arrive, which typically gives me this spot). These signs line the closest spots to the building. There's also a section of the parking lot reserved for people who car pool. I only drive in the winter, as I ride my bike when it's nicer out.
Aside from the blurring of my company name on the building (can't have you stalking me, of course!), this picture is SOOC.

Sorry for the poor cameraphone quality photo.
One of the interesting things that comes with living near a famous recording studio is seeing the interesting signs on their parking lot wall (which itself is a well-known mural). Walking by the Village Recording Studios the other day, I saw this sign and it somehow struck me as completely absurd. I guess T-Bone is a celebrity in some quarters...
BTW - if anyone is interested: www.villagerecorder.com/
This studio has seen some big names - Bootsy Collins and Fishbone among them! But also some more traditional rock royalty - Steely Dan, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton - and yes, The Doors.
