Looking down Rose Street, off West Terrace. Fire-engine red doors against lemon yellow walls brighten up this drab laneway.

Have a great day, everyone!
I was at Sam's Club the other day and happened to look up and see the birds "parking" on the reserved parking sign; it tickled me so I thought it would make a fun image.

The Marquess of Bute - who undertook preservation work on the walls of Caerphilly Castle in the late nineteenth century, liked nothing better than a Wall's ice cream, and had a particular penchant for Strawberry cornettos. Hence the provision of a designated parking space for ice cream vans opposite the castle, the source of many a feast in the fortress.

These adorable swallows (Northern Rough-winged I believe) were posing perfectly on top of one of the signs over a handicapped parking space at Shawnee State Park’s Turkey Creek Lake.
My family had parked nearby for a picnic lunch by the lake, so it was easy to get in the car and get a shot without disturbing the birds too much.
The swallows seemed to enjoy the location of the signs. It was easy for them to fly over the edge of the lake or along the creek.
I think the one really looks like it is smiling!
