Research into the illustrator Chris Riddell and in particular his work in the book "The Sleeper and the Spindle" by Neil Gaiman. In particular, I was looking into his drawing style and his rendering of character.
I am currently working on a project based around Ethical Design. In class, we have been looking at protest and spoof graphics against the Coca Cola Company, mainly the 'Killer Coke' campaigns. In order to gain ideas for my own Killer Coke poster, I researched previous posters.
To produce the title for this page I cut out strips of paper and arranged them to say 'Killer', I then painted over it, left it to dry, and peeled back the strips of paper to create this rough, angular typeface to reflect the nature of the campaigns. I produced the word 'Cola' in a similar way.

Nearly 300 experts working to address the complex illegal wildlife trade (IWT) issue worldwide joined us to discuss how we can collaborate and address research gaps to ensure the best evidence is informing action and policy (www.illegalwildlifetrade.net/iwt18event). A large delegation of the Evidence to Action organisers and presenters were then invited to attend the UK government’s London Conference on the Illegal Wildlife Trade 2018 to further represent research and help close the divide between evidence and policy. A summary of the research evidence on the trade’s scale, impacts and complexity, the remaining evidence gaps and how we can move forward efficiently following the events, can be found in the Briefing Note (osf.io/preprints/socarxiv/35ndz/).

A team of engineers from the U.S. Army Research Laboratory’s Vehicle Technology Directorate toured Argonne National Laboratory, in Illinois, April 4, 2018. The group visited with officials from Argonne’s Energy Systems Division before watching an ARL experiment performed at the Advanced Photon Source. Argonne is a partner in ARL Central, the laboratory’s effort to include talent from across the nation for new science and technology to help make America’s Soldiers stronger and safer.
