The long-tail boat, used to carry passengers on a river may include a lightweight long canoe hull, up to 30 metres. They are not the quietest or most comfortable boats to travel in but usually the cheapest and most fun.

Unstoppable

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]

I'll smile, I know what it takes to fool this town

I'll do it 'til the sun goes down and all through the nighttime

I'll tell you what you wanna hear

Keep my sunglasses on while I shed a tear

It's never the right time

[Pre-Chorus]

I put my armor on, show you how strong I am

I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am

[Chorus]

I'm unstoppable, I'm a Porsche with no brakes

I'm invincible, I win every single game

I'm so powerful, I don't need batteries to play

I'm so confident, I'm unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, I'm unstoppable today

[Verse 2]

I break down, only alone I will cry out loud

You’ll never see what’s hiding out

Hiding out deep down

I know, I’ve heard that to let your feelings show

Is the only way to make friendships grow

But I’m too afraid now

[Pre-Chorus]

I put my armor on, show you how strong I am

I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am

[Chorus]

I'm unstoppable, I'm a Porsche with no brakes

I'm invincible, I win every single game

I'm so powerful, I don't need batteries to play

I'm so confident, I'm unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, I'm unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, I'm unstoppable today

[Pre-Chorus]

I put my armor on, show you how strong I am

I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am

[Chorus]

I'm unstoppable, I'm a Porsche with no brakes

I'm invincible, I win every single game

I'm so powerful, I don't need batteries to play

I'm so confident, I'm unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, I'm unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, unstoppable today

Unstoppable today, I'm unstoppable today

Bald Eagles require about five years to fully develop the adult plumage featuring the white head and chocolate brown body that many Americans are familiar with. Younger birds, such as this one, are typically a mottled white and brown.

An interesting fact from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology: "Immature Bald Eagles spend the first four years of their lives in nomadic exploration of vast territories and can fly hundreds of miles per day. Some young birds from Florida have wandered north as far as Michigan, and birds from California have reached Alaska."

I don't know where this bird originated, but it was photographed at Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, near Saginaw, Michigan.

Happy Bokeh Wednesday!

This shot is completely unprocessed, uncropped. No artificial light. No adjustments what so ever!! No zoom, no filters. Just me, my camera, and a Macro lens.

I say this only to prove, that great photographic imagery starts with a great image.

All those neah sayers that believe processing is just about fixing a poor image and the digital age requires no thought or skill. So not true...great processing always begins with a great image.

Assignment 4 - Heels, Heels, and More Heels

My latest assignment requires me to submit one photo per week to the group Sexy Heels of SL in bed of which the administrator is my very own Flickr Sensei, Wolf Braham. He LOVES heels!!!!! I know a lot of men love heels, but no one loves them quite like Wolf.

Just a note about this photo: The highlight of the photo is the heels. My hand appears to be pointing to my left foot and the light focuses on the lower part of my body. Not my face, because in this group it is really all about the heels.

I submit to you Week One of the assignment.

See Week Two of the assignment here.

Check out Week 3 of the assignment here.

The photo shows a red capped Russula mushroom growing in moss on the forest floor.

Russula mushrooms are fairly common and have a worldwide distribution. They are invariably ectomycorrhizal in that they form an intricate and beneficial association with many diverse plants (including trees). Through a network of strands (mycelia) the fungus facilitates uptake of water and nutrients, particularly nitrogen and phosphorus to the plant host but requires energy (in the form of sugars) in return.

For more information on ectomycorrhizal associations see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ectomycorrhiza

Laugharne Castle is a castle in the town of Laugharne in southern Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is located on the estuary of the River Tâf and was originally established in 1116.

So! at certain times of the day the carpark near the castle will flood...and the seating area ofcourse ☺.

Can a house be semi-abandoned? Aspects of the place appeared to be looked after, others not so much. For example, the broken window in the kitchen, which had glass pieces on the sill.

i stood quiet and still, leaning on the gate of a barn at Adam's — who i'd just delivered logs to — hoping her curiosity would draw her. Sure enough she got closer and closer. Smelly breath, but easily tolerable for this gorgeous animal.

Trying to find butterflies requires a lot of time and patience this year. I spent most of Saturday morning walking over several meadows in a nearby woodland area with my camera and finally spotted my first Skipper, a butterfly who in other years is rather common in that area.

Be brave in the face of problems and situations that require it, be your own hero...

Thank you for taking the time to view, fave or comment on some of my images.

I saw the garage scene at Backdrop Village (maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Eversong/218/202/2204) and decided to pop on overalls and make myself look like a gearhead. Nothing in reality could be further from the truth.

I am far too short for the built in animations. I had to rez a box to stand on and add a pose of my own.

Just looking back over some old shots I came across this from 7 years ago. Some of my followers may remember that I've issued this previously but I still find it astonishing that a bird can even attempt to swallow something so large. In the end the cormorant gave up trying and the bream eventually recovered and swam off to tell its pals about its near death experience.

Thanks to all who have visited, commented or faved (it would be nice if you left a comment too) my photos. It is very much appreciated. Constructive criticism welcomed.
