Working on snow globes with repurposed glass jars and vintage knick knacks. This is a little pitcher from Japan that I've had since I was a kid so, sad for me, that makes it vintage. I'm experimenting with what to use for "snow". I've been trying different plastic charms. Still working on them.

My parents order out for Chinese about once a week, so they save me the side of rice that comes with the order, which is something they don’t really like. I usually eat the steamed rice as is, since it is one of my favorite snacks, but here I expanded its volume to a meal by adding a vegetable stir fry of whatever was close to spoiling in my fridge. Thus: fresh bell peppers, white mushrooms, onion, carrot, garlic, ginger, lime, and a splash of tamari.

These 4.5" x 6.25" books are made from repurposed papers recovered from printer test prints, notebooks, vintage cookbooks, old invoices, construction paper, index cards, and vintage kids' books. They would make great scrapbooks or notebooks. Each unique book contains 20-22 pages which are machine stitched. The book is finished with clear packing tape and a rubber band holds them closed.

The covers of this limited edition set are made from vintage cookbook dividers and have great images on the inside cover of each book.

finished! I love it, even on my old cookie sheet. I need that one though, so I'll try to get my hands on another one.

This perpetual calendar is created with 50 collage magnets made from retro images from books and old cookbooks. The magnets have a baking/retro theme which inspired me to display it on one of my old cookie sheets! You can use it on your fridge, your own old cookie sheet, or any other magnetic space just calling out for a super cool perpetual calendar!

Each magnet is created by gluing 4 paper circles together measuring 1.5" in diameter that have been cut from old cookbooks and other books, then a 1" magnet is attached to the back.
