A comida preferida do leão é a gazela.

A comida preferida do tigre é a mesma do leão.

Here's me being a reporter with a half of a building behind me. Yes I am smiling...but it was pretty grueling to day after day meet so many sad people. At the same time it was pretty incredible and I am thankful that I saw this. I hope my time here can make a difference. (Photo: Cathy Beloeil/www.phiphi-releve-toi)

Right next to a piece suggesting that anonymity will be the way of things, a reporter posts a TV feature request. Hoping he/she doesn't take them up on it...

This art appears in alleyways, under overpasses, and hidden in the steel trusses of the El. Not collected up and showcased for public consumption. Maybe I can't speak with authority because I'm not the one putting it up, so I don't know how they want it appreciated. But as an observer, part of my enjoyment is the thrill of the hunt and the discovery.

I know I document and catalog the art here, but still...Go out there and find it. Enjoy it. Don't turn on the news to learn about it.

...or is it all a tricky law enforcement scheme? Never can trust the man.

"I have been collecting photos of your work for the past year...I think some of this art may be the work of other folks as well. I'm a big fan... I'm a TV producer & I'm dying to do a story on you and the beautiful work that you do! Would of course be a story where I would conceal your identity. If you are interested please contact me at alexjones143@gmail.com -> I put this up in the hopes of contacting you."

Just seems a little weird to me.
