Hi, my name is Drew Ramezani. For this project I took pictures of repeating patterns and lines. It was assigned to me by Mr. Landerer.

I took this picture because of it's simplicity. A line of chairs is simple, yet it can be beautiful. You just have to look closely and appreciate what it looks like from a different perspective.

I took this picture with a certain shutter speed and aperture. The shutter speed was set to 5.6, and the aperture was set to 1/60. I used these settings because they were the optimal settings to use for this picture. I took this picture in my back yard and that time was 3:24.

In conclusion, I really like this picture. It shows how we overlook many things instead of looking closely to see what they could be. I think that everyone should slow down and appreciate the many things in life, no matter how simple they may seem at first.

I started with a small piece of fabric which I painted on then photocopied it and repeating the pattern.

I gotta say, this is a pretty sweet texture to look at. You know why? Because I made it. :D

A repeating pattern I found in nature was of this tree bark. It's not a perfect pattern, more of a texture. I still found it to be a bit uniform and follow the general criteria.

In this photo there are many examples of repeating patterns, on the tin on the back wall and on the side the ripples repeat, the bored on the ground have a repeating pattern and there are more.
