I had to be quick to get these pics.
She was running all over the bed then diving under the pillow and poking her head out like this, then repeating it again and again.

All of nature reveal beautiful patterns. Love dahlias as everything radiates from the center and reaches to the sun. I love its underbelly and seeing the overlapping repetition.
Many repeating reflections, deferent
And changing views. Look from above
Below, the side or from inside.
Where ever I look from I see
Something else – even if my focus
Is on the same object.
And who ever stands beside me, what do
they see? Is it what I see
Or something totally deferent?
Or maybe its only me
Looking from within
The reflection?

The Elgin Area Camera Club did some fire-spinning in April 2023. I just got a note that they're gonna do it again this Monday. I figured I should finish editing the pictures from last year first!

The warrior, looks towards the advancing lines of the enemy. He throws his spear with so much strength it makes a whoooossshhhh sound as it passes over his fellow warriors. watching if briefly for a second or two before repeating the action again and again...

Repeating myself, but this is really just uploaded as a comparison of very similar pano shots from my Pentax and Sony. The difference in colours out of camera (with minor tinkering only) is quite striking - at least on my monitors. Think its quite clear the Sony provides the clearer, sharper photos (although I actually like this one more than the previous one for some reason).

Repeating Patterns
This row of rusting hurricane/ fire shutters caught my eye while walking in the historic area of downtown Galveston. The repeating pattern is soothing and as you look closer each one is showing different unique details.
In a shop window which was obviously an opticians, in Christchurch. I cannot get out and about to shoot for this challenge as I have pneumonia, this is as close as I can get to having a multitudes photo for now.

Waterloo Train Station - 1530 - 1600.
I've been lucky a few times over the past few weeks with light at Waterloo. If you time it just right, you get an amazing gold over all the platforms.
Obviously then all you need is the people....
At the risk of repeating myself, I've created another sketch of some cut flowers in a small crystal vase that I've used on other occasions. What caught my interest in this bouquet of flowers were the shadows cast by two separate lights on the flowers - one set of shadows were lighter than the second set which seemed to create a nice sense of dimension. This is my first painting in a new sketchbook - a Hand-Book Journal which has thick pages of 300 gsm (140 lbs) with a textured surface. My first impressions are good. The sketchbook is 21 x 26 cm (8 x 10 inches) with a binding that is stitched which may make it more durable than my last one.

this evening I stepped out of time...
for a moment...
to rest in this sacred space...
which is no place...
but a state of mind...
there I find peace...
while my heart races....
and passion rises....
for the simplicity...
of a plastic object....
that when placed...
on the canvas...
the light will dance
and shadows will loop.....
and I on my knees...
camera in hand...
and I am content.
for a moment...

Repeating the description from earlier image: As dusk falls over Varanasi, the Ganga Aarti transforms the riverbanks into a luminous spectacle. A symphony of lamps, rhythmic chants, and the fragrance of incense fill the air, as priests, with skilled precision, offer reverence to the Ganges.
Its a must watch if you are there in Varanasi, the holy pilgrimage city by the longest river in India.

Russia. Moscow. Sunset at VDNH.
The Worker and Collective Farm Worker monument at VDNH is a sculpture of two figures with a hammer and sickle raised above their heads. It has a height of 24.5 meters (78 feet) and was made by Vera Mukhina from stainless steel for the 1937 World's Fair in Paris. After the end of the exhibition in Paris, the sculpture was transported to Moscow and installed on a ten-meter pedestal at the Northern Entrance to the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition (now VDNH). In 2003-2009, the sculpture was restored and installed in a pavilion repeating the original design for the Paris exhibition.
I caught this out of the corner of my eye as I was walking to a chiropractor appointment this morning..
I just couldn't resist when I saw them on a tree!
They looked so cute and my mind instantly started wondering what I could do with them and my camera. This was the first thing that popped to my mind!
Here is the first bunch, but beware, a whole compilation is coming! Soon.....
