Endlessly Repeating - a wonderful installation. I've included the blurb but I don't know if it's useful.

Beware all of those silent trickster evolutions.

Science is the unattainable God pretending to provide impossible solutions.

Orbiting, floating it out, working, patiently waiting out all of these quiet revolutions.

The new species is in waiting.

Our destiny remains steady and marches closer toward a fool’s martyrdom.

I guess this title applies to me as much as this image - I don't appear to have anything 'new' to show at the moment so i'm just uploading past images.

Still, I do like the repeating bokeh on this.

Shapes & Space

Digital Photography

I took this photo at the Biltmore Hotel as well. It caught my eye because of the repeating rectangles spread across the roof. I liked the depth the rectangles created enabling the viewer to slowly pass from one side of the photo to the other. I edited the photo by following the consistency of the black and white effect while faintly raising the darks in the photo and raising the contrast to help define the lines on the roof better.

I think this photo fits the assignment because the repetition of the simple rectangular shapes creates good depth while the negative space really brings out the subject. I also really like the contrast that shows all the different shades of black on the roof and brings out the shapes of the photo.

Me repeating a route of Iain and Niall's. Ground up for me.

I know I'm repeating myself but I really begin to like Kodak's newest colour film. First of all it is not unlikely that history books will refer to it as the last traditional colour negative film ever to be released. Second it has virtually no visible grain and delivers beautiful colours (once the labs have figured out to cope it adequately).

A single frame of a kids toy. Single gymnast flipping around. The latest flash heads have a feature called repeating flash ("Multi" mode on nissin). In this mode the flash fires the set number of times at the set frequency. This allows a moving subject to be captured in a single frame. The shutter was open in Bulb mode.

Number of Flashes: 1 ( Nissin Di866)

Mode: Multi flash. flash set to fire 5 times at a frequency of 10 Mhz
