Kite repairs complete and back in the air with the 10 foot BKT rokkaku kite after in flight lower spar failure. The center of the three part skyshark P400 spar failed in flight dropped into an Iceland lake. Will test the repaired kite in the skies above Bangkok repaired over the weekend.

I repaired the lathe belt by replacing it with some 5mm polymer belt material that I bought at the Bristol Model Engineers Show. In this shot, you can see the knife that I heated to melt and fuse together the ends of the belt material.

Plastic wheelbarrow repair. Drilled through the center supports for the handle and put a piece of galvanized pipe through it. It had broken in the middle of one of the handles. Covered the break with gorilla tape and it works great now. Also had a crack in the bottom so I glued a piece of plywood in it and drilled some holes for drainage.
That was about 9 months ago and it's still going strong. Have had this little wheelbarrow now for 5 years or better and often load it with 200+ lbs of wet horse poop or rocks. ☺
