Popped them on and added a set of 10's. No problems at all. - Next step, test the electrics and rewire as necessary.

About an hour after this was taken it ran out of battery, and nothing would get it to turn back on - even the geeks at the Apple Store on 5th Avenue. Oh, and the warranty expired about a week earlier.

The dull repetitive thud of a 'Tug' working hard could be heard well before Colas Class 60 No. 60087 'CLIC Sargent' came into view leading the late running 6V97 1448 Beeston-Newport Docks at Elford on 20th August 2014. This is a heavy train with 16 loaded box wagons in tow, plus the dead-weight of DBS Class 66 No. 66069. It was, no doubt, intended to provide a stiff test for the Class 60 which was being returned from Toton after repair. No. 60087 is the first of ten Class 60s acquired by Colas from DB Schenker to enter traffic. It had received a DBS 'Super 60' overhaul, identical to that applied to the DBS fleet, but has since proved unreliable with a number of failures in traffic. So a return to Toton was arranged, which has hopefully solved the reliability problems. As well as the 'Tug' being pushed hard, so was the Nikon D700 which was used to capture the scene, as that too was using a hefty 5000 iso rating. Copyright John Whitehouse-all rights reserved
This arrived partially stripped, with some unfinished repairs and no lid for the pot.

Roof or eavestrough is leaking into the house wetting the wall upstairs.
Problem started 2 years ago when was a lot of snow and couldn’t drain properly when melted at that spot.
Repair:
Leak found on back side of home and vent pipe near leak. Kitchen vent lined up with pipe not bath pipe. Moisture/condensation where pipe goes into attic
We did a roof tune up to secure minor roof issues and suspected water coming from valley, so we trimmed corner of end shingles that were not trimmed and sealed around vent pipe and sealed shingle on NW corner where nail coming through.
this photo is a testament to the bounty of life and good fortune. i got this panavise with circuitboard top at the goodwill as-is store, for probably a couple bucks. total score! even though i already had a panavise, the circuit board top was totally useful, i thought. in practice, i rarely use it, but for this task it was uniquely perfectly suited. i was able to set the neck position for the first gluing and then once that dried, come back and dump a ton of plastic bonding epoxy to reinforce it.
it should be noted that, of course, as soon as these repairs were done, yala lost all interest in this toy and moved on to american girl dolls, which of course don't talk. i'm not sure if i'm happy or sad about that.

This was a woopsy on my side. I accidental dropped this head and one of the ears broke. The moment it hit the floor I knew one of the ears would be damaged. The ears are very thin. T_T Luckily I found all the pieces again and repaired the ear. His owner was happy with the result too.
These thing can happen, so never be afraid to repair it ;)
