A Pound Puppy that belonged to one of my kids. His ear had been chewed by a dog (I remember the horror of that day!) and he also sustained a few holes in his face in the same incident, and he had been put away.
So, I got him out this week, repaired the ear (it required sort of major surgery, I had to cut away the damaged ear and resew, so it's shorter, but he IS a Pound Puppy after all) and stitch up the holes in his face, but he looks awfully good. He got a good washing and drying and a new bow as the old one had been badly damaged as well.
Now he's off in the mail to be enjoyed by my Grandchildren. I'm not sure they know what a Pound Puppy is, a relic from the 80s!
