The instructions for this model have been sitting in my browser tabs for awhile now. Mecabricks released new parts yesterday, so I stayed up to model and render it. I could pick a better HDRI and background, but results look good.

First Warframe Brickheadz for a while, which means my first ones rendered in Stud.io. Gotta say, I'm not a fan of how the gold comes out. I mean, it's accurate, but still looks like garbage. This has been saturated just a little in Photoshop.

A render that I have wanted to do for a long time:
A high quality render of my "Øresundståg" or "Oresund train" with digital stickers. Even though this model is almost 3 years old and I designed it when I was 17, I'm still very satisfied. One day I might rebuild it in 8 wide, but for now, there is no need to.
Would be really cool if an "Øresundstog" official saw this ;))

Just a render of a julia quaternion set in povray with a fired, unglazed ceramic texture applied to it.
Mainly a test render to see whether a plausible ceramic texture can be done in povray.
Built in LDD and rendered with Stud.io.
A three crew shuttle, used mainly as a cargo transport. it could also be refitted as a troop drop ship.

Structure Synth / Sunflow
This render took a very long time on my computer -- 32 hours on a 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo. While it was rendering, I investigated distributing the render to Amazon's ec2. I spent 32 cents testing their service, and successfully rendered a small image. I used their basic 0.10 / hr service, which gives you a virtual machine roughly half as fast as a single core in my laptop. They do have a higher speed service that is 0.80 / hour. This gives you 8 cores and is roughly 5 times faster than my laptop. At 0.80 / hr of high cpu time, it would have cost me roughly 5.60 bucks to render it, and taken 6.4 hours.
It should also be possible to use Helios to distribute the render across many ec2 instances to really speed things up. Unfortunately I've run into some bugs with Helios and wouldn't feel comfortable spending money on CPU time yet.
(I didn't use any photoshop for this picture, it's just developed in lightroom. Reykjavík is that beautiful, more than pictures can show)

The library contained invaluable manuscripts and wisdom from the past, which could unveil the secrets behind the nomads' ability to survive in harsh desert conditions. In the many caves and underground grottos around Timbuktu, ancient documents were unearthed, bringing new knowledge to light.
This photo series explores the rediscovery of this forgotten wisdom, providing a glimpse into how our ancestors navigated life's challenges in the desert. Through these images, ancient truths are brought to life once more, inspiring us to learn from the nomads of the past, as we seek new paths forward in a world grappling with climate change.
