reminding me that i really DO love this area where i've spent all but four years of my life...

Documenta 14 / Kassel / from the Artist Marta Minujin „Parthenon of books“.

I don't have a name for this pretty plant...but as I passed it a few times walking through the swamp / marsh it kept reminding me of Christmas time Candy Canes! The light was right so I tried, a little to much lens but I thought it was pretty.

Reminds me of what could have been the kind of image that inspired the Deep Purple song.

reminds me of a mocking bird chasing a crow in an attempt to alter course.

A daffodil, for sure, but for all the world it reminds me of the business end of a rocket.

HBM! One of two bench photos taken on Saturday in Humber Bay Shores, Toronto.

Reminds me of the Better days gone bye....

Reminds me of a fluted champaigne glass...

Reminds me of when I used to shoot on Konica film. It was a nice day for a walk.

Reminded me of an aerial shot of another planet as I stood by the old apple tree at the bottom of the garden. The gnarled, heavily textured trunk a landscape in its own right. There may be a few more of these to come!

My Granddaughter said that these square trees reminded her of Minecraft trees! 😊

The Thames at Plantation Wharf.

On my way to avalanche training....ughh, since i caused so much trouble in yesterday's class today I'm a designated victim. Lucky i don't suffer from claustrophobia.

Pic reminds me of this great song my all time favorite singer Chris Ledoux sang. Listen to the whole song as it is pretty funny!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XAsSHfrW3I

Listening to that song reminds me of one night after a rodeo Ledoux was singing and my brother (I think) and I were sitting on the top of the bucking chutes with FRONT ROW "seats" to his concert. Nobody else was around and we were the $#*%. Song after sone we were just sitting up there singing away with all of his old country songs. In his later years, he started to sing a little more rock n roll with a little more flare and boom like the pyrotechnics that were not quite directly under us that some stage hand is probably still laughing about when we almost flipped off the back of the chute when that fire or firework or whatever the hell it was came blowing up right next to us. Ha #*$&%^@ ha

Never again did I sit on the chutes at a Chris Ledoux concert!!!

Wednesday reminded me why I grind my ass off all chase season and try to discipline myself to chase even the most marginal of days. I almost sat out today, but told myself "its only 4 hours away and you will regret not going if something happens".

Watched this remarkable storm from birth to death put on an ungodly show of structure.

Thought I ran out of roads and found one mud road that was a 50/50 shot if I'd clear the precip in time. But, I didn't care. I was not letting this structure get away from me. Stephen, Max and myself convoyed down the road, beat the precip and were treated to this breathtaking view. Words can't describe what I saw today. Its still processing. But, I hope you can imagine how incredible it was by this shot. Many more to come.

Reminds me somewhat of a painting the way this turned out.

I appreciate each and every visit, comment and fave here on my little corner of the world as seen through my lens.

reminded me of Cousin Itt from back in the day - HMBT!

Reminds me of scene from movie called "Gladiator".

This guy reminded me of one of my late Mom's favorite songs. I would, then, harmonize with her and Dad would join in from time to time. Just one of many memorable moments I spent with them.

I think this little guy is a warbler. But then again, what do I know about birds, nothing. I just see something that looks beautiful to me and I take a picture of it.

A little bit of vintage processing. HBW everyone!!!

Reminding myself again of the lovely summer we had in 2018.

Traipsing through the gorse & heather on Corndon Down, looking up to Corndon Tor on the horizon. This is uphill from Dartmeet off the road to Sherwell.

It seemed to be exceptionally colourful last year.

Reminds me of Pseudisotoma sensibilis.

Found at the foot of a poplar.

Up : 3x the same springtail

down : a more juvenile one

So circles! Reminds me of the moon cycle, right?

Reminds me of a little hut - I think these little mushrooms are just too cute :)

It turned out we couldn't take Josie to the beach. By the time we got up, people were already on the beach and we didn't have a dog permit - I was afraid we would get in trouble. Maybe next time!

This view reminds me of the movie Speed 2 where the ship ploughs into the coastal town buildings!

The Stena Line HSS ship is claimed to be the World's largest fast ferry. With a twin hulled catamaran design It travels at 46 mph and weighs 20,000 tons. It is about 420 feet long and can carry 1,500 passengers and 360 cars. The HSS travels between Ireland and Britain in just 99 minutes - less than half the time of conventional ferries.

This was taken from the pier at Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Dublin, Ireland.

Squeek reminds me very much of a human counterpart- David Hyde Pierce's character on the T.V. series, 'Frasier'. David played the character, 'Niles Crane', who was smart, very slim and lithe, and also, very, very shy. This is little Squeek to a 'T'!

Reminds me of a baseball catcher with his mitt up. John Heinz NWR

Reminded me of Gilligan's Island TV theme song.

reminded me of a Swedish Andy Warhol.....

Reminds me of a Blonde Joke...

This man and his wife (who is Blonde) were watching the morning news when the announcer was handed a piece of paper...

"This just in, an airplane just crashed with 2 Brazilian men on board, more details to follow.."

The man said, "That's too bad. I feel sorry for them."

Then the Blonde breaks into a fit of uncontrollable sobbing, "How terrible to loose so many men in one plane crash...waaahhh!"

The man, looking a bit confused, gathered his wife into his arms and said "Honey it was only 2 Brazilian men in that plane."

The wife, wiping her eyes but continued choking back sobs said, "Didn't you hear the news, 2 Brazilian men! ... How many is a Brazilian?!"

"No, no, no honey, the 2 men were from Brazil, there were only 2 on the plane."

HAHAHA - Hey it's Monday and my wife is a Blonde, so I can tell this kind of joke! (she does not understand them anyway!)

Reminds me of the Meerkats you see at the zoo !

The Three Gossips stand in the Courthouse Towers section of Arches N.P., Utah

And yes; I waited for that cloud ;-)

This picture was taken in Frederiksberg have in Copenhagen, Denmark. I managed to get some great pictures of a grey heron, hiding behind a tree. It made me think of the old jurassic period, as the grey heron truly reminds me of a dinosaur in this picture. But you know what they say; birds are modern dinosaurs.

The sky reminded me of a Turner painting

Reminds me of that other one...

Reminded me of a (small) tarantula with that 'build'! Good job it was quite small! Lol!

Vallée de la Solle - Forêt de Fontainebleau

Reminded me of a dry, arid place, even though it's in a lake.

LARGE View On Black

Today theme is Ukranian trade. Sometimes it felt really "Back in USSR!"

The blue thing on the left is traditional scales which i remember since my early childhood. They are really in harmony with the salted cucumbers in a opened jar - probably sold by one. Only new thing is Cola bottles...
