Memorial Day - 2022
Today is Memorial Day in the United States. On this day we honor our fallen. Those brave men and women who stood in the face of danger and gave their lives for their country. We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, so that all us are safe and free.
God bless our fallen heroes.

A year ago I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 12 years.

I remember back to last year when I was so surprised to see a chipmunk out and about during December. The date was December 9th and I mentioned on Flickr at the time it was a first for me. Granted, we've still got a week to reach December 9th but it is December today so this is now the second time I've seen a chipmunk during December. It looks like this could be the start of a new normal, thanks to a warming planet.

We'll be scattering Susan's ashes on this beach this afternoon. It'll be very emotional , and I hope a really happy time , remembering all the great times we've all spent together. Remember me was Sue's very favourite track by her favourite band British Sea Power, she'd just start dancing wildly the second it started playing. We certainly will remember her always. Thanks for all your support and kindness, Paul x

red earth, black earth, yellow earth, white earth
brown earth, we are earth.
Remember the plants, trees, animal life who all have their
tribes, their families, their histories, too. Talk to them,
listen to them. They are alive poems.
Remember the wind. Remember her voice. She knows the
origin of this universe.
Remember you are all people and all people
are you.
Remember you are this universe and this
universe is you.
Remember all is in motion, is growing, is you.
Remember language comes from this.
Remember the dance language is, that life is.
