The meaning of life, his life, if you asked JAXson, is to find a bit of sunshine coming through the clouds. He is on a steroid medication which seems to be relieving his congestion. Hoping this boy finds his way back to robust health. Happy Caturday.

I use a Fotodiox Pronto. It gives me auto focus with my vintage lenses. I’m using vintage Nikon and Pentax/Takumar lenses for the most part with my Sony cameras.
As this picture is from 2015, the above info isn't quite accurate...
read the cracks on the sidewalk like yr. fingers would scars and yr. eyes would a map.

I seem to be on a Grebe mission this spring. I have been absolutely thrilled to follow this Red-necked Grebe couple from their courtship displays to mating to raising their family. It's the first time I have heard their calls and seen their display of affection for each other. This dad is absolutely fantastic. He was busy with the nest building and now with helping to raise the kids. He still straightens the nest, relieves mom so she can go for a swim and continuously brings food for the babies. They have been such a pleasure and I never tire of watching them. I have so many pictures yet to go through and will be posting more. Taken in Calgary, Alberta.

A finales de la década de los 50, Eusebio Sempere creó, durante su estadÃa en ParÃs, sus ‘relieves luminosos’: una especie de cajas de luz, donde ésta, en su alternancia, producÃa diferentes efectos visuales con y sobre los materiales gráficos dispuestos por Sempere. AquÃ, una muestra.
At the end of the 1950s, Eusebio Sempere created, during his stay in Paris, his 'luminous reliefs': a type of light box, where this, in its alternation, produced different visual effects with and on the graphic materials arranged by Sempere. Here, a sample.

Coca Cola said this sign was painted by Thomas Cusack in 1903. A building occupied the neighboring lot from the mid 1920s on, hiding the sign from view (unless you knew where to look). When the building was demolished a few years ago, the sign was seen again.
