Relaxing...

it is wonderful to be out and about but there is something very relaxing and feminine about being home and dressed feeling feminine in a blouse and skirt in home surroundings.

So I certainly have been busy during lockdown 😁

I know it's not very lady like, but I do enjoy wargaming.

Building and painting up a 12 century Crusade army. Think "Kingdom of Heaven" movie. The painting is very relaxing.

Whelan, "our" male brush turkey, is relaxing after having a dust bath on a very hot day. He is attending his nest mound in our yard a few times every day, adding or removing leaf litter from it to try and keep the temperature at a regular 33 - 38°C. Hopefully before long we will hear the pitter-patter of tiny turkey feet.

I think Shi is about 9 weeks old here. She is a little girl.

The lord and lady of the house are gone so maid Laila is home alone and able to take it easy on the couch.

I'm not sure of the relationship of birds to horses or like we so often see in African images of birds on the backs of Rhinos - but I do find it quite often. I thought about the bugs but it isn't quite that warm - like only in the mid-teens when I took the image - so not too many hatches going off.
