Kalami beach in Kythera island. There are 2 ways to get there if you don't have a boat: walking for 3 hours in a valley or climbing down some rocks in the end of a path. But this secret beauty is worth of the adventure.
She's just having a nice stretch and relaxing on the mantlepiece with her friend on the far side!

Spending a day away from the "madding crowd", our daily chores and onshore busy life, floating in the solitude of cool breeze-laden and vast back-waters of Kerala is truly a relaxing experience.
These House- Boats are fuly furnished one/two bed room houses with attached baths and kitchen. The crew includes one cook too to prepare and serve you local specialities.. Karimeen ( a local fresh water fish)and Konchu(lobster) are well-known sea food varieties.
The houseboats in Kerala, south India, are huge, slow-moving, exotic barges used for leisure trips. They are a reworked model of Kettuvallams (in the Malayalam language, Kettu means "tied with ropes", and vallam means "boat"), which, in earlier times, were used to carry rice and spices from Kuttanad to the Kochi port. Kerala houseboats were considered a convenient means of transportation.
The popularity of Kettuvallams has returned in the function as major tourist attractions.
Such a houseboat is about 60 to 70 feet (18 to 21 m) long and about 15 feet (4.6 m) wide at the middle. The hull is made of wooden planks that are held together by ropes of coconut fiber; the usual wood is 'Anjili'. The roof is made of bamboo poles and palm leaves. The exterior of the boat is painted with protective coats of cashew nut oil.
I think it was Sunday. My girl has a very stressful job so it is not often I get to see her this way.
Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm.

Someone else was also relaxing at Surfer's Bay while we were there.
This photo was taken about 7 or 8 stories up. The climb was rather intense as there were no lights and the steps on every story were perilous at best. Getting to the top was pretty much just feeling your way up all these random dark tunnels.
We peered down over the city to see children playing a game of cricket with palm fronds and an ancient man creeping across the town square.
Outside of the temple there was a group of about 40 school children who massed and fought for positions just to touch me and practice their english. I shook every single one of their hands.

Dani relaxing on seat in Cabinteely Park, Dublin, Ireland.
I was on a walk with my camera to capture the Autumn colours. Dani was sitting on the seat chatting on her phone. She kindly allowed me to take her photo with the Autumn colours as background. This seat is off the regular paths so you dont find people sitting there very often.
It was afternoon and light was fading
I gave Dani my contact card
