It would not surprise me if this were the very first time this 9-year old dog had ever relaxed out doors. When I adopted him (4 months ago) he knew nothing about stairs and though the yard was a place he should spend as little time in as possible, taking care of business and returning to the house. Today I sat outside and read, and he finally found a place to settle.

My pumps are off and my feet are free. The pumps are new and still hurt a bit when I wear them, but now I can freely wiggle my toes and get the blood flowing again. Maybe you want to help and give me a nice foot massage? I would appreciate that a lot and surely it would ease the pain and get the blood flowing much faster...

The summer in Finland is so short that you really need to make the most of it, by spending time in nature - relaxing next to the sea, swimming in lakes, picking wild berries in the forest. Finland's forests are vast, and notoriously inhabited by all sorts of creatures - bears, wolves, elks and of course, the Moomins. But look what I captured on my last visit. I think I'll go again this weekend, and see what I can find...

Ok not really relaxing as such more posing but that is my way of relaxing now days.
So the diet started this week! so far things haven't gone so well tooooo much chocolate still in the house but not for long lol.
I think I have found my best side so in future this is the only angle from which I shall be photographed.
so the new year is here and I plan to get out and about a little more a London trip is well over due as is a visit to leeds and maybe the south coast.
So if you see me say hello.
Nothing beats a warm, bubbly hot tub soak after a long day in Bedrock. Lay back and relax in the comfortable turtle shell while a trio of elephants keep the jets going. Tusks are handy as towel racks, too.
My entry into the Ideas Flintstones contest. I had a few different concepts going but this one jumped out at me. Inspiration for the elephants from Brother Steven's Elemut. I enjoyed getting a chance to use my new teal tiles for the first time!

Captured this candid image while in Bar Harbor, Maine. This gentleman was sitting in the central park area among the shops enjoying the fabulous Maine summer weather reading a book. Here he was taking a break from reading, just enjoying the moment.
I too was relaxing ... just snapping the enjoyable moment. Something to be said for this activity and not off climbing the rocks and getting the tripod out for a long exposure ... of course that is also fun to do :)

If there's one thing Greyhounds raise to an art form, it's relaxing. They never do it half way. Bunny and I had a volunteer meeting tonight and she says she'll have to rest all day after letting everyone there pet her and admire her. It's a tough life.
