This is one of the decent shots I have been able to get out of my copy of this lens. All of my shots are quite soft with a lot of spherical aberrations. I will upload some other examples to share the issues I am seeing. To get this one to work I had to do a lot of sharpening in photoshop.

I took a few shots this afternoon while out for a walk at Durdle Door. To be honest I wasn't particularly happy with any of the shots, but this one was probably the best of a bad bunch and I need a photo for my unofficial one a day challenge.
I quite like way that the boat in the bottom right is motionless and appears to be hiding behind the rock from the packed dinghy which is quickly disappearing into the top left of the frame, presumably searching for the hidden boat. I imagine this as a scene from a James Bond movie but perhaps I have simply watched far too much TV in my time! :)
Many thanks, my friends, for all your nice comments and faves !
