This large Kangaroo was relaxing in a patch of sunshine. He seemed to be fairly unworried by the small group of humans wandering nearby, but alert to our presence. It is one of the wonderful things about living in Australia that you can see such beautiful animals in largish numbers in our outer suburban parks. For the Through the Lens Week 20 Theme of Animals
This is one of the decent shots I have been able to get out of my copy of this lens. All of my shots are quite soft with a lot of spherical aberrations. I will upload some other examples to share the issues I am seeing. To get this one to work I had to do a lot of sharpening in photoshop.

Hot or cold - Macro Monday
I had an idea a couple of days ago but could not find an old style thermometer. Then at the last minute I came up with this. I had just purchased these figures early in the week. This gut looked cool so I went with him.

The sun just lit the beech next to an old bench at the water / Een oud bankje onder de kleurige beuk in de buurt van Maarsbergen. De zon kwam porecies op tijd om de boom in vuur en vlam te zetten
This Flamingo was just chilling out and relaxing as I photographed it at the Gulf Breeze Zoo off of HWY 98 in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Here I used the Sony A9 with the Sony FE 24-240mm F3.5-6.3 OSS Lens. Post processing with Capture One Pro 12. Have a wonderful Saturday. Cheers!
