ZRH 28/06/2006 - this beautiful SP was delivered new to Pan Am in 1979. She used to be a regular visitor at ZRH in recent years.
He was out here every morning atop this light pole. I tried to zoom out there to get better shots of him, but the distance and constant overcast didn't make that really possible.
I did use this opportunity to try that telephoto lens I picked up a couple years ago - you can see the results below.

Regular fare for the Carrington based company, this Optare Solo is laying over for a few minutes. Also taken from the window of an Enviro 200 which I was aboard.
We have put this Nativity up in our showcase at the restaurant every year. It's a favorite with our regular customers who have seen and admired it year after year.

Regular. Well, I couldn't get him to smile for the camera, but the important field mark, the white patch on his back, ensures that this is our regular little male Downy Woodpecker having his daily suet snack! Mrs. Downy comes by, too - I'm hoping for babies!
