Clearwing hummingbird moth.
It was so hot in July that the bee balm bloomed for less than a week. That left me very few photo ops to try and get some shots of these rascals.

It's peculiar how something as mundane and everyday as a petrol station can look very different and more interesting at night.
Welcome to Planet Frost
Our tour continues...
Well, our exploration of the sights and wonders (and rovers) of Planet Frost has reached the halfway point. I hope you have enjoyed our journey so far. We are going to make a brief stop here to refuel for the remainder of our tour. Feel free to disembark the bus, stretch your legs, gaze at the stars, and get some fresh air (if that is, your species is compatible with our atmosphere.). Be sure to be back on the rover in 15 earth minutes or risk Hugh Mann departing without you.

Messing with retrofuturism in this build inspired by the work of daxwasser on Instagram. I hope you like it!
Long after humanity vanished from Earth, nature began reclaiming the ruins of civilization. Centuries passed, cities crumbled, and new life began to explore the deteriorating relics of a forgotten world, curious about the beings who once called it home.
This build was made for Day 1 of Vignweek 2025.
The prompt was Archeology: Build an Archeology scene. It can be a historical scene, one from an existing IP (Indiana Jones, Uncharted, etc) or it can be your own idea. It can be historical, modern, or sci-fi, but should focus on the discovery/research of a past civilization.
